अमृतसर पुलिस ने सीमा पार हथियार-नशीला सप्लाय मॉड्यूल पकड़ा, पांच आरोपी गिरफ्तार

COMMISSIONERATE POLICE AMRITSAR DISMANTLES CROSS-BORDER ARMS & NARCOTICS SMUGGLING MODULE ICE DRUG AND TWO SOPHISTICATED PISTOLS RECOVERED; FIVE ACCUSED ARRESTED Under a focused and intelligence-led operation, Commissionerate Police Amritsar has busted an arms and narcotics supply network with cross-border linkages, resulting in the arrest of five accused and recovery of ICE Drug and illegal firearms. FIR No. 32 Dated 22.01.2026 U/S 22-C, 29/61/85 NDPS Act & 25/54/59 Arms Act PS Gate Hakima, Amritsar. During patrol and search operations aimed at tracking criminal elements, police teams apprehended Satnam Singh Bindi. On his personal search, 523 grams of ICE (Methamphetamine) and two Glock 9mm pistols were recovered. On sustained interrogation, accused Satnam Singh Bindi disclosed that he was supplying the recovered ICE Drug to Raman, Chirag, Rishabh and Vaibhav. Acting swiftly on this disclosure, police teams nominated and arrested all four accused. Further investigation revealed that accused Satnam Singh Bindi was directly in contact with an Australia-based handler named Dhillon through the Signal app. The handler used to coordinate the supply of ICE Drug and illegal arms smuggled from Pakistan via drones. The Australian handler would only share identifying details such as clothing or physical markers of recipients, ensuring that suppliers and receivers did not know each other, indicating a well-organised and insulated smuggling network. The ICE Drug (Methamphetamine) is nearly five times more expensive than heroin, underlining the high commercial value and serious threat posed by this narcotic.
