जगतियाल जिले में पंचायत चुनाव गिनती के दौरान हिंसक झड़प, पुलिस ने गोली चलाई

Telangana: Tension prevailed during the counting of Panchayat election votes in Jagtial district after violent clashes broke out, forcing the police to resort to firing in the air. The unrest occurred during the vote counting of the Paidipalli Gram Panchayat elections in Velgatoor mandal. Supporters of the defeated Sarpanch candidate staged a protest, alleging irregularities in the counting process. The agitators held a sit-in protest outside the polling station, which later escalated into clashes between two groups. To control the situation, police fired three rounds in the air. Several people sustained serious injuries in the clashes.
