Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister to Visit Chittoor District As part of his tour schedule, the Deputy Chief Minister will visit the Musalimadugu Elephant Camp near Palamaner. During the visit, he will inspect the Kumki Elephant Training Camp, review human wildlife conflict management measures, and take part in a plantation program. The Karnataka government gave six trained (kumki) elephants to Andhra Pradesh, handed over in May 2025. The elephants were provided to help the two states cooperate and address the growing issue of human-elephant conflict. Following this, he will inaugurate the Kumki Elephant Camp and the Gajarama Urban Forest Park at Musalimadugu. Later, he will interact with local farmers as part of a “Farmers’ Meet” session.
