Jammu and Kashmir BJP spokesperson Altaf Thakur and bjp senior leader ajaz ahmad has termed the Nowgam blast as an accidental explosion, stating that preliminary inputs indicate the blast occurred while the Forensic Science Laboratory team and police officials were examining the confiscated explosive material. Thakur said the incident should not be politicised and urged for a thorough investigation to determine the exact cause of the explosion. He praised the police and FSL teams for risking their lives while handling dangerous substances and wished speedy recovery to all injured personnel.
