Srinagar Police in collaboration with IDPS and private schools organized a drug de-addiction awareness program aimed at sensitizing students about the harmful effects of substance abuse from an early age. Addressing the gathering, showket Choudary interacted with the students and counseled them on how to protect themselves from the menace while also learning to identify drug abusers in society. He emphasized that although police have made significant progress in curbing this social evil, complete eradication requires active cooperation from the community. Highlighting the role of mutual coordination between police and citizens, the officer said such awareness campaigns play a crucial role in shaping young minds, who are the roots of the nation.
