Ground Zero Report on Security Forces Hunt 3 Suspected Terrorists in Doda's Bhallara forests, massive CASO enters day 3 Slug-1409ZS_DODA_ENCOUTER_R By Raja Rehber Jamal  Location-Doda VO:In Jammu and Kashmir’s Doda district, security forces have stepped up operations after receiving intelligence inputs about the movement of suspected terrorists. A massive search operation is underway in the forest area of Bhallara village in Thathri, and the operation has now entered its third consecutive day. Senior Superintendent of Police Doda, Sandeep Mehta, confirmed that the search was launched on Friday evening after specific inputs suggested that three terrorists were seen moving in the Bhallara belt. Since then, police personnel assisted by the Army have cordoned off vast stretches of forest and adjoining villages. Security forces are carrying out a combing operation in the rugged terrain to trace the hiding suspects. SSP Doda Sandeep Mehta said, "After receiving credible information, security forces immediately launched the operation. Our teams are conducting thorough searches, and efforts are on to establish contact with the suspects." Officials said that while no direct contact has been established so far, the cordon remains in place and reinforcements have been deployed. The operation is being conducted with utmost caution to avoid any collateral damage, given the difficult topography and presence of civilian population in nearby hamlets. The district has already been on high alert since the detention of AAP state president and local MLA Meraj Malik under the stringent Public Safety Act earlier this week. Authorities have imposed strict security measures and are keeping a close watch on the ground situation to prevent any untoward incident. With the search operation in Bhallara stretching into its third day, security forces continue to comb the dense forests of Doda. The focus remains on tracking down the suspected terrorists and ensuring that peace and stability in the region are not disturbed.
