Residents of Gangoo area in Pulwama staged a protest against the reported killing of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, in a major strike carried out by the US and Israel. Large number of people gathered in the area to express grief and anger over the incident. Protesters termed the attack as unfortunate and condemned the killing. One of the residents said, “We are deeply saddened by the news of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s killing. It is very painful to hear such news.”
