Barh, Bihar:बाढ़ अनुमंडल में नगर परिषद का पीला पंज आज से अतिक्रमणकारियों पर चलने वाला है। इसकी सूचना बाढ़ स्टेशन, कचहरी और बाजार के दुकानदारों को पहले ही दे दी गई थी। कई दिनों से लाउडस्पीकर से अतिक्रमण हटाने के लिए अनाउंसमेंट भी करा दिया गया है। बाढ़ के कई दुकानदारों ने इसे नगर परिषद की बेहतर पहल बताते हुए खुद अतिक्रमण हटा लिया है। दुकानदार सुबह से सड़क के किनारे लगे अस्थाई अतिक्रमण को हटाने में जुटे हैं। लोहे के एंगल और करकट हटा लिया गया है। वहीं नगर परिषद के चेयरमैन ने स्पष्ट कहा है कि अब अतिक्रमणकारियों पर लगातार पीला पंजा चलेगा। अगर किसी ने दोबारा अतिक्रमण करने का प्रयास किया, तो उसपर एफआईआर दर्ज कर कार्रवाई की जाएगी और हैवी फाइन भी लगाया जाएगा। बाइट स्थानीय दुकानदार संजय कुमार, चेयरमैन, नगर परिषद बाढ़

Bageshwar, Uttarakhand:बागेश्वर में जनवरी में होने वाले उत्तरायणी मेला की तैयारियों को लेकर डीएम आकांक्षा कोंडे की अध्यक्षता में पहली बैठक हुई। बैठक में मेले को आकर्षक और भव्य बनाने पर जोर दिया गया। डीएम ने सभी विभागों को समय से कार्ययोजना तैयार करने, दुकानों पर एक समान फ्लैक्सी बोर्ड लगाने, सफाई व्यवस्था, मोबाइल टॉयलेट, पेयजल, पार्किंग और सुरक्षा प्रबंधन दुरुस्त करने के निर्देश दिए। साथ ही मेले के लिए प्रस्तावित अस्थायी पुलों का निर्माण जल्द शुरू करने को भी कहा।

कानपुर में BLO से अभद्रता पर FIR, आरोपी के खिलाफ मामला दर्ज

Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh:कानपुर में आर्य नगर विधानसभा के बूथ के सहयोगी बूथ पर आर्य नगर विधानसभा के एसआईआर अभियान को पूरा करने के लिए ड्यूटी पर लगी महिला BLO से रिजवी रोड पर एक युवक ने सरकारी कार्य में बाधा डालने का प्रयास किया। महिला BLO ने विरोध किया तो युवक गाली-गलौज और अभद्रता करने लगा। मामले में पीड़िता ने मंगलवार देर रात आरोपी की बेकनगंज पुलिस से शिकायत की, जिसके बाद पुलिस ने मुकदमा दर्ज कर लिया है। इस मामले के अनुसार मोहम्मद नईम नामक व्यक्ति ने बीएलओ शाहिदा परवीन से एसआईआर फॉर्म लिया और ऑनलाइन सबमिट किया, लेकिन वह नियमित रूप से उन्हें परेशान कर रहा था और निर्वाचन प्रक्रिया में बाधा डाल रहा था। मंगलवार को वह रिजवी रोड स्थित सादिक बाबा मजार के पास दोपहर करीब ढाई बजे फार्म वितरित कर रही थीं, तभी मोहम्मद नईम ने उन्हें रास्ते में रोककर अभद्रता की। विरोध करने पर आरोपी ने गाली-गलौज की, जिसे स्थानीय लोगों ने बीच-बचाव कर मामला शांत कराया। देर रात BLO, सुपरवाइजर हाफिज अहमद व अन्य कर्मियों के बेकनगंज थाने पहुँचीं, जहाँ उन्होंने आरोपी के खिलाफ शिकायत दर्ज कराई।

The association alleged that despite the availability of several government schemes meant for persons with disabilities, no benefits have been extended to them so far, and members continue to face harassment at various levels. They further accused the local administration of failing to organise any program in Sub Division Gulmarg on this important day, terming it a complete disregard for the disabled community. The association stated that they have been ignored in multiple welfare schemes, including electricity concessions, drinking water facilities, UT-level benefits, and centrally sponsored schemes. The Disabled Association of Tangmarg has appealed to the Central Government to intervene and ensure justice, urging authorities to take concrete steps for their welfare in the future.

Thousands of Lakhs migratory birds travel thousands of kilometres — not guided by maps or machines, but by instinct and ancient sky routes. And for many of them, their journey ends in the snow-draped valley of Kashmir. Hokarsar — 13.75 square kilometres of marshes, reed beds, and open water. But these waters hold a secret: They are the lifeline for more than 150 species of migratory birds, travelling from as far as China, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, and Siberia. The arrival begins in late October. First come the Mallards, followed by Gadwalls, Pintails, Eurasian Wigeons, and the elegant Common Teals. Soon, Greylag Geese take over the skies. This year, wildlife officials estimate over 150,000 birds have already touched down — with more still on their way. Hokarsar is witnessing a very strong season. The numbers are rising every week, and this shows the wetland’s remarkable ecological recovery. For these travellers, Hokarsar is more than a stopover — it is a refuge. Its nutrient-rich waters, aquatic vegetation, and mild winter climate make it one of the most reliable winter homes along the Central Asian Flyway. Their journey is not easy. Some fly over the Himalayas, braving freezing winds and predators. Others navigate storms, night skies, and human-altered landscapes. Yet, every winter, they return — guided by the same ancient flyway that has connected continents for millennia. Protecting this miracle is a daily effort. Forest guards patrol the wetland at dawn and dusk — safeguarding birds from hunters and monitoring their movements. Every season, Hokarsar surprises its watchers. From rare Sanderlings to striking Red-crested Pochards, these wetlands serve as an open-air theatre of biodiversity — attracting researchers and birders from across the world. Restoration efforts by the Jammu & Kashmir Wildlife Protection Department have begun paying off. Improved water channels, silt removal, and community awareness are strengthening Hokarsar’s resilience. With continued conservation, the skies above Kashmir will continue to echo with the songs of these winged visitors — year after year.
