Banihal, Oct 5: The annual Urs of Hazrat Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jeelani (RA) was observed with great reverence and devotion in the Krawah area of Banihal. Thousands of devotees from across Jammu and Kashmir and other states gathered at Krawah to participate in the celebrations. The event began last night with night-long prayers and recitations, as people expressed their deep spiritual connection and respect for the revered saint. During the day, the sacred relics of Hazrat Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jeelani (RA), Hazrat Ameer-e-Kabeer Mir Syed Ali Hamdani (RA), and Imam Abu Hanifa (RA) were displayed multiple times for the devotees. Like every year, the Banihal administration had made proper arrangements to ensure the smooth conduct of the Urs, including facilities for devotees and necessary security measures.
