Ganderbal: As the holy month of Ramadan enters its final days, Muslims across Ganderbal will observe the 27th night of Ramadan tonight in search of Shab-e-Qadr (the Night of Power). Special night-long prayers and religious gatherings will be held in mosques across the district, where devotees will engage in recitation of the Holy Quran, supplications, and other acts of worship. The faithful are expected to spend the night in prayers seeking forgiveness and blessings. Speaking about the significance of the night, Molana Javeed Maqadomi said that Shab-e-Qadr is considered one of the most sacred nights in Islam. He said Muslims believe that worship performed on this night carries immense spiritual rewards and is better than a thousand months. He urged people to devote themselves to prayers, charity, and remembrance of Allah during the last days of Ramadan and pray for peace, prosperity, and well-being of the society.
