ANCHOR: In view of severe frost formation and a sharp dip in temperatures affecting road safety, the Doda district administration has issued a traffic advisory for key interstate roads connecting Bhaderwah with neighbouring states. VO: As per the advisory, vehicular movement on the Bhaderwah–Bani–Basoli–Pathankot road and the Bhaderwah–Chamba interstate road will remain restricted during specific hours to ensure the safety of commuters. No vehicular movement will be allowed before 10:00 AM and after 5:00 PM on these routes. The administration has further clarified that no vehicular movement towards Guldanda and Chattergalla will be permitted beyond Thanthera before 10:00 AM and after 5:00 PM. Similarly, on the Bhaderwah–Chamba interstate road, vehicular movement beyond Thanalla (after the 26th kilometre) will not be allowed before 11:00 AM and after 4:00 PM. All concerned departments and agencies have been directed to remain vigilant, closely monitor road and weather conditions, and ensure strict implementation of the advisory in the interest of public safety. The district administration has appealed to commuters to cooperate with authorities, adhere to the advisory in letter and spirit, and avoid unnecessary travel during restricted hours.
