Sub District Hospital Bhaderwah is being upgraded with additional facilities to cater to the rising patient load in Jammu and Kashmir’s remote areas. The expansion includes new accommodation for the Emergency Ward, X-Ray, Laboratory, and Operation Theatre, aimed at improving diagnostic and treatment capabilities. Additional Deputy Commissioner Bhaderwah Sunil Kumar Bhutyal conducted an on-site inspection to review the progress and ensure quality standards. The project, approved recently, is being executed by the R&B Department on a war footing to ensure speedy completion. To review the progress and ensure quality standards, the ADC conducted a detailed inspection of the ongoing works at the hospital, inspecting the construction of additional rooms across key departments including Emergency, X-Ray, Laboratory, and Operation Theatre. He assessed pace and quality and directed engineers and contractors to strictly adhere to approved designs and specifications while maintaining high construction standards. The ADC emphasized timely completion so that patients can avail improved diagnostic and treatment facilities without inconvenience. BMO Bhaderwah Dr. Varsha Sharma, officials from the Health Department, and engineers from the R&B Department were present during the inspection. Once completed, the upgraded infrastructure is expected to significantly ease the burden on the hospital and enhance healthcare delivery in the Chenab Valley region.
