BJP constituency president Gurez criticises CEO Bandipora suspension targets MLA Gurez for their involvement in illegal attachment of teachers Anchor:-Bharatiya Janta Party Gurez constituency president Raja Ajaz today criticized suspension of Chief Education Officer Bandipora alleged by the current government for misusing their power and letting poor students suffer in Gurez valley. Addressing media in Bandipora Raja Ajaz, said that the officer had ordered the relieving of teachers who were allegedly attached illegally to offices instead of serving in schools, and claimed that the suspension followed this action. He alleged involvement of MLA Nazir Ahmad Khan in the matter and accused the current government of penalising officials who act against irregularities. He said the move would adversely affect students in remote areas, particularly in far-flung schools of Gurez, where teacher shortages already exist. Pertinent to mention, the CEO Bandipora was placed under suspension after he issues ordet to relieving illegally attached teachers in Bandipora and Sumbal zone after which an order issued by Government of Jammu and Kashmir reads CEO Bandippra will be placed under suspension over pending inquiry against the official.
