BJP General Secretary Ashok Koul expressed regret over the loss of civilian lives in Pakistan, saying that “those who dig pits for others often end up falling into them themselves.” He made the remarks while speaking to the media after addressing a public gathering in Anantnag district. Meanwhile, during a discussion in the Assembly a day earlier on the Budget, Koul termed the 2026 Budget disappointing, stating that it had failed to meet the expectations of the public.
