Spl Story; Jal Shakti Department ensuring 24X7 water supply for pilgrims across Ramban  Slug-1707ZS_RBN_WATER_YATRA_R By Raja Rehber Jamal Location-Ramban  Anchor: As part of its efforts to provide the best facilities for the pilgrims of the ongoing Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2025, the District Administration Ramban is ensuring that every facility is being provided at its highest standard.   From staying to boarding and Langer to drinking water facilities, every facility is being provided to the pilgrims with best ever quality and arrangements.    To facilitate yatries coming for Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2025, Jal Shakti department is also working 24*7 to provide uninterrupted Drinking water facility at Langer Site Lamber Ground Banihal and other Langer and lodgement sites across Ramban district.    Engineers from the Jal Shakti Department, along with their team, are also testing the quality of drinking water at Yatra camp Lamber, Chanderkote and other areas regularly to ensure the safety & well-being of all pilgrims as well.   Harish Chander, Executive Engineer Jal Shakti department Hydraulic Division Ramban said that we are working day in and out to ensure pilgrims get best ever facilities including safe drinking water and water facility for toilets and washrooms 24X7.    "As a proactive measure against the intense heat, we've guaranteed the availability of chilled drinking water through water coolers fitted with RO, contributing to a more pleasant and revitalizing atmosphere for pilgrims," he added.     He informed that there is more than 3 lakh liters consumption of water every day, which is being provided by the department.   He also informed that beside piped water supply, 5 water tankers have been kept on standby to tackle any emergency.   He also said that we are providing 24X7 water supply to toilets, Langer points and have established 8 RO fitted Coolers in Langer sites with round the clock water supply.   Meanwhile pilgrims also appreciated Government, Administration, and Jal Shakti Vibhag for the facilities being provided to yatries.       Feed.
