New Delhi, Delhi:दिल्ली पुलिस की क्राइम ब्रांच ने नेपाल सीमा से एक अंतरराष्ट्रीय मोबाइल तस्कर को गिरफ्तार किया है। आरोपी सर्वपाल सिंह उर्फ जीनी बहादुरगढ़ का रहने वाला है। पुलिस ने उसके पास से चोरी के 36 महंगे मोबाइल और एक कार बरामद की है। आरोपी पर पहले से ही जान लेने का प्रयास, चोरी और झपटमारी सहित 9 मामले दर्ज हैं।

हरेला महोत्सव में रामनगर: वृक्षारोपण से पर्यावरण संरक्षण का संकल्प तेज
Noida, Uttar Pradesh:हरेला महोत्सव के तहत रामनगर में चला हरियाली अभियान, वृक्षारोपण कर पर्यावरण संरक्षण का लिया संकल्प रामनगर हरेला महोत्सव के तहत रामनगर में पर्यावरण संरक्षण को लेकर जागरूकता अभियान लगातार जारी है, गुरुवार को रामनगर वन विभाग की कोसी रेंज के अंतर्गत क्यारी मार्ग पर वृक्षारोपण कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया गया. जिसमें वन विभाग के अधिकारियों के साथ सामाजिक संस्था आदर्श रामलीला समिति भवानीगंज के पदाधिकारियों ने भी उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लिया,इस दौरान अधिक से अधिक पौधे लगाने और उनके संरक्षण का संकल्प भी लिया गया. उत्तराखंड में हरेला महोत्सव के अवसर पर पिछले करीब एक माह से प्रदेशभर में बड़े स्तर पर वृक्षारोपण कार्यक्रम आयोजित किए जा रहे हैं,इसी क्रम में गुरुवार को रामनगर वन विभाग की कोसी रेंज के अंतर्गत क्यारी मार्ग पर पौधरोपण अभियान चलाया गया. कार्यक्रम में वन विभाग के अधिकारियों, कर्मचारियों और नगर की सामाजिक संस्था आदर्श रामलीला समिति भवानीगंज के पदाधिकारियों ने मिलकर विभिन्न प्रजातियों के पौधे रोपे. कार्यक्रम के दौरान पर्यावरण संरक्षण का संदेश देते हुए सभी प्रतिभागियों ने पौधों की देखभाल और उन्हें सुरक्षित रखने का भी संकल्प लिया, वक्ताओं ने कहा कि केवल पौधे लगाना ही पर्याप्त नहीं है, बल्कि उनका संरक्षण और नियमित देखभाल भी उतनी ही आवश्यक है, ताकि आने वाली पीढ़ियों को स्वच्छ और हराभरा वातावरण मिल सके. इस अवसर पर रामनगर वन विभाग के एसडीओ अंकित बडोला ने बताया कि हरेला महोत्सव के तहत विभाग द्वारा व्यापक स्तर पर वृक्षारोपण अभियान चलाया जा रहा है,उन्होंने जानकारी दी कि रामनगर वन प्रभाग में अब तक 10 हजार से अधिक पौधों का रोपण किया जा चुका है, जबकि अकेले रामनगर रेंज में करीब 6 हजार पौधे लगाए गए हैं. उन्होंने बताया कि वन विभाग स्कूलों, सामाजिक संस्थाओं और विभिन्न संगठनों के सहयोग से लगातार वृक्षारोपण कार्यक्रम आयोजित कर रहा है, साथ ही लोगों को पर्यावरण संरक्षण के प्रति जागरूक किया जा रहा है, ताकि अधिक से अधिक लोग इस अभियान से जुड़कर प्रकृति के संरक्षण में अपनी भागीदारी निभा सकें, उन्होंने सभी नागरिकों से अपील की कि प्रत्येक व्यक्ति कम से कम एक पौधा अवश्य लगाए और उसकी देखभाल की जिम्मेदारी भी निभाए,इससे पर्यावरण संतुलन बनाए रखने के साथ-साथ आने वाले समय में जलवायु परिवर्तन जैसी चुनौतियों का सामना करने में भी मदद मिलेगी. CUK ने NEP-2020 के छह साल पूरे किए, बहु-विषयी शिक्षा से भारत की राह
Aram Pora, Ganderbal, Under the banner of Akhil Bhartiya Shiksha Samagam (ABSS)-2026, Central University of Kashmir (CUK) celebrated six years of the National Education Policy (NEP)-2020, at the Tulmulla Campus in Ganderbal. Addressing the participants (online), Vice Chancellor, Prof. A. Ravinder Nath, said the NEP-2020 seeks to develop independent learners who possess effective communication skills, digital literacy, experiential learning abilities, and a balanced understanding of the past, present and future. Deliberating on the transformative vision of NEP-2020 and its role in shaping India's future, Prof. A Ravinder Nath said, “Educational institutions must nurture students as global citizens equipped with knowledge, competence, values and a deep sense of social responsibility.” He stated that students must develop financial literacy, analytical thinking, critical decision-making abilities, social skills and active community engagement, enabling them to respond effectively to the rapidly changing global environment. यूजीसी ने कश्मीर विश्वविद्यालय को Category-I दर्जा दिया; स्वायत्तता बढ़ी
Aram Pora, Ganderbal, The University of Kashmir (KU) has been granted the prestigious Category-I status by the University Grants Commission (UGC), placing it among India’s top-performing higher education institutions. The recognition gives the University enhanced academic, administrative and financial autonomy to introduce new programmes, strengthen research and expand international collaborations with minimal regulatory approvals. The recognition was approved by the UGC during its 598th Commission meeting held on July 6, 2026, under the UGC (Categorisation of Universities for Grant of Graded Autonomy) Regulations, 2018, according to an official communication issued by UGC Secretary Prof. Shyama Rath. “The University shall now be eligible for all the benefits as stipulated under Clause 4, i.e., Dimensions of Autonomy for Category-I Universities, of these Regulations,” read the communication. The Category-I status allows the University greater flexibility in introducing new academic programmes, revising curricula, promoting interdisciplinary education, establishing research and innovation ecosystems, forging national and international collaborations, and undertaking a range of academic and administrative initiatives without requiring multiple regulatory approvals. The recognition follows the University’s outstanding performance in the 2025 NAAC re-accreditation cycle, in which it secured an A grade with a CGPA of 3.68—the highest accreditation score in the institution’s history, KU said in a statement. Under the UGC regulations, Category-I status is awarded to universities that obtain a NAAC score of 3.51 or above. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Nilofer Khan described the recognition as a defining milestone in the University’s academic journey. Prof. Khan said the enhanced autonomy would enable the University to significantly expand its global academic engagement by collaborating with leading international universities, engaging foreign faculty, admitting international students and offering new Open and Distance Learning (ODL) programmes in accordance with UGC regulations.0

Climate Change Is Stealing Classrooms From Kashmir’s Nomadic Children Anchor - Every summer, hundreds of Bakarwal families from the Pir Panjal region, including Rajouri and Poonch districts, migrate with their livestock to the higher reaches of Kashmir in search of fresh pastures. Many of them spend nearly six months in alpine meadows, including the upper reaches of Bandipora district. But while the migration sustains their livelihoods, it continues to come at the cost of their children's education. This year, continuous rainfall, cloudbursts and changing weather patterns have made the annual journey even more difficult. Traditional migration routes have become slippery and dangerous, delaying movement and leaving families stranded for days. The harsh weather has also damaged temporary shelters, with rainwater entering tents and soaking children's books, notebooks and other study material. Parents say the worsening climate is not only threatening their livestock but also pushing their children's education further out of reach. Many seasonal schools remain inaccessible or are yet to function properly as families struggle to reach their destinations. "We were excited to continue our studies after reaching the upper pastures, but the rains damaged our books and we have not been able to attend classes," said 13-year-old student Yasir. "I don't want to fall behind my classmates, but every year something interrupts our education." Mohd Hassan, a Bakarwal herder from Rajouri who has been migrating to Bandipora's upper reaches for the past 15 years, said this year's journey has been the most difficult. "I have been coming here for 15 years, but this is the worst season I have ever seen. Continuous rainfall and cloudbursts have made the routes extremely dangerous. Water entered our tents and damaged our children's books. We are worried about both our livestock and our children's future," Hassan said. Nazakat Ali, a Bakarwal from Rajouri, added that migration remains challenging but climate change is intensifying the education crisis. The Education Department has established 23 seasonal education centres across Bandipora’s upper reaches and deployed 23 seasonal education volunteers to ensure that children from nomadic communities continue their studies during migration. According to the department, 255 students have been enrolled in these seasonal centres this year. However, many Bakarwal families say they have little choice but to move beyond the locations where these centres operate. As grazing lands around the designated seasonal schools have shrunk due to changing weather patterns and depletion of grass, herders are forced to migrate deeper into the mountains in search of pasture for their livestock, leaving many children unable to attend classes regularly.0

Old Doda Bridge पर सुरक्षा क्लियरेंस मिलने के बाद यातायात फिर शुरू
Doda, Three days after vehicular traffic was suspended on the Old Doda Bridge in Doda, the District Administration has restored traffic movement following a detailed technical inspection by an expert team, which declared the bridge structurally safe for public use. Traffic on the bridge was halted on July 27 after reports of visible cracks raised safety concerns. The Public Works Department immediately referred the matter to the Designs, Inspection and Quality Control (DIQC) Department for a comprehensive structural assessment. The expert committee found no structural cracks in the bridge and confirmed that it is safe for vehicular traffic. Based on the report, the District Administration has reopened the bridge last evening providing a much needed relief to commuters as this bridge connects. Executive Engineer PWD Doda, Anil Mehra, said the bridge is structurally sound and fit for traffic. However, he said the expert committee has recommended several precautionary measures. He said that during heavy rainfall, if the river water level rises and reaches the bridge deck, authorities will closely monitor the situation. If necessary, traffic may be temporarily suspended, as large wooden logs carried by strong currents could strike the bridge and pose a safety risk. The Executive Engineer further informed that parking of vehicles on the bridge has been strictly prohibited. The PWD will issue a formal circular, while the Traffic Police will ensure strict enforcement of the no-parking directive. The District Administration has appealed to the public to cooperate with the authorities and strictly follow all safety guidelines while using the Old Doda Bridge.0

राजस्थान हाईकोर्ट ने परमार को नोटिस जारी किया, अजमेर दरगाह मामले में जवाब माँगा
Ajmer, Rajasthan:अजमेर शरीफ दरगाह में गैर मज़हबी मकाम मामले में राजस्थान हाईकोर्ट ने महाराणा प्रताप सेना के सदर डॉ. राजवर्धन सिंह परमार को एक नोटिस जारी किया है। इसमे पूछा गया है कि अजमेर दरगाह मामले में जेरुलतवा दावे में उन्हें पार्टी बनाने के ताल्लुक में निचली अदालत की ओर से दिए ऑडर को क्यों ना मंसूख कर दिया जाए। जस्टिस सुदेश बंसल की सिंगल बेंच ने ये ऑडर अजमेर दरगाह अंजुमन मोइनिया फखरिया चिश्तिया खुद्दाम ख्वाजा साहिब की ओर से दायर दरख्वास्त पर इब्तिदाई सुनवाई करते हुए दिए। दरख्वास्त में वकील आशीष कुमार सिंह ने अदालत को बताया कि अजमेर दरगाह के आहता में गैर मज़हबी मंदिर होने का दावा करते हुए वहां की निचली अदालत में एक सिविल दावा चल रहा है. उस दावे में डॉ. राजवर्धन सिंह परमार ने दरख्वास्त पेश कर शरीक मुद्दई बनने की गुजारिश की थी. इस लेटर को निचली अदालत ने गुजिश्ता 15 जनवरी को कुबूल कर उन्हें पार्टी बना लिया था, जबकि वो महाराणा प्रताप सेना के सदर हैं और सियासी वजूहात और अपनी पब्लिसिटी के लिए मामले में पार्टी बने हैं। दरख्वास्त में ये भी कहा गया कि असल मे मुकदमा नवंबर 2024 में दायर किया गया था और परमार ने 14 माह तक इंतजार करने के बाद अचानक पार्टी बनने का दरख़्वास्त लेटर पेश किया. इसके अलावा निचली अदालत में इससे पहले कुछ दीगर दरख्वास्ते भी पेश हुए थी, जिन्हें अदालत ने यह कहते हुए खारिज कर दिया था कि सिर्फ अक़ीदत, मज़हबी तालुक या दिलचस्पी से किसी का सीधा कानूनी हक़ नहीं बनता है। अंजुमन सैय्यद ज़ादगान के सैकेट्री हाजी सैय्यद कलीमुद्दीन चिश्ती ने बताया कि निचली अदालत ने दरख़्वास्त दायर करने वाले दीगर लोगो पर तीस, तीस हजार रुपए का जुर्माना भी लगाया था. वहीं, निचली अदालत ने बाकी दरख़्वास्त देने वालो को छोड़कर परमार को पार्टी बना लिया था। ऐसे में निचली अदालत के ऑडर को मनसुख किया जाने की दरख़्वास्त हाई कोर्ट में की थी, जिस पर 29 जुलाई को सुनवाई करते हुए अदालत ने परमार को नोटिस जारी कर जवाब तलब किया है।0

बांदा में जुआ खेलते 8 आरोपी गिरफ्तार; 2,06,610 रुपये और 3 कार-1 बाइक बरामद
Banda, Uttar Pradesh:पुलिस अधीक्षक पलाश बंसल के निर्देश में अपराध पर नियंत्रण की मुहिम के तहत कोतवाली देहात पुलिस ने जुआं खेलते 8 अभियुक्तों को गिरफ्तार किया है। उनके पास से 2,06,610 रुपये कैश, 52 ताश के पत्ते, 1 बाइक और 3 कार बरामद हुई हैं। मंगलवार देर शाम मुखबिर से सूचना मिली कि मवई बाईपास रोड स्थित नशा मुक्ति केंद्र के पास कुछ लोग हार-जीत की बाजी लगाकर जुआं खेल रहे हैं। सूचना पर थानाध्यक्ष संजीव कुमार चौबे के नेतृत्व में टीम ने छापेमारी कर 8 लोगों को मौके से गिरफ्तार कर लिया। पुलिस के अनुसार अभियुक्तों के पास से 52 अदद ताश के पत्ते, मालफड़ व जामा तलाशी में कुल 2,06,610 रुपये, 9 मोबाइल फोन, 1 मोटरसाइकिल और 3 चार पहिया वाहन बरामद किए गए। सभी के खिलाफ मु0अ0सं0 210/26 धारा 13 सार्वजनिक जुआं अधिनियम के तहत मुकदमा दर्ज किया गया है। गिरफ्तारी टीम में चौकी प्रभारी दुर्विजय सिंह सहित 8 पुलिसकर्मी शामिल रहे।0

भिवंडी महापालिका में SIR अभियान की समीक्षा, डिजिटाइज़ेशन युद्धपातळी पर काम के निर्देश
Thane, Maharashtra:मतदार याद्यांच्या सखोल पुनर्निरीक्षणाच्या निर्देशानुसार भिवंडी महापालिकेत SIR अभियानाचा आढावा घेण्यात आला. महापालिका आयुक्त अनमोल सागर यांच्या अध्यक्षतेखाली झालेल्या बैठकीत डिजिटायझेशनचे काम युद्धपातळीवर पूर्ण करण्याचे आदेश देण्यात आले आहेत. भिवंडी निजामपूर शहर महानगरपालिकेत SIR अभियानासंदर्भात महत्त्वाची आढावा बैठक झाली. बैठकीच्या अध्यक्षस्थानी आयुक्त अनमोल सागर होते. अतिरिक्त आयुक्त विठ्ठल डाके, मतदार नोंदणी अधिकारी बाबासाहेब टेळे, पश्चिम आणि पूर्व मतदार संघाचे सहायक नोंदणी अधिकारी अजय घोळवे आणि सर्व संबंधित अधिकारी उपस्थित होते. बैठकीत देण्यात आलेल्या माहितीनुसार, भिवंडी पश्चिम मतदार संघात 56% फॉर्म वितरण पूर्ण झाले आहे तर पूर्व मतदार संघात 60% फॉर्म वितारण झाले. डिजिटायझेशनचे काम अद्याप पूर्वमध्ये 30% आणि पश्चिममध्ये 27% झाले आहे. उर्वरित काम युद्धपातळीवर पूर्ण करण्याचे निर्देश आयुक्तांनी दिले. सर्व नोंदणी अधिकारी दर 2 तासांनी कामाचा आढावा घेण्याचे सांगण्यात आले. आयुक्तांनी नागरिकांना आवाहन केले की BLO कडून SIR चा फॉर्म घेऊन माहिती भरलेल्या नागरिकांनी त्वरित BLO कडे जमा करावेत. ज्या मतदारांचा पत्ता सापडत नाही त्यांचा पंचनामा करून नोंद घेण्याच्या सूचनाही दिल्या. निवडणुकेचे काम निष्पक्षपणे करावे, राजकीय दबावाला बळी पडू नये असे इशारेही देण्यात आले. SIR बद्दल जनजागृतीसाठी घंटागाडी, वृत्तपत्र आणि दवंडी पिटून प्रचार करण्याचे आदेशही देण्यात आले. SIR मोहीम अंतिम टप्प्यात आली आहे. त्यामुळे शिक्षक आणि आशा कर्मचाऱ्यांच्या सेवा पूर्णवेळ उपलब्ध करून देण्याचे नियोजन करण्याचे निर्देशही आयुक्तांनी दिले आहेत. कामात कसूर करणाऱ्यांवर कडक कारवाई होणार आहे.0
