TO BREAK THE BACKBONE OF GANGSTERISM IN DELHI’S DWARKA AND OUTSKIRTS, A CONCERTED & COORDINATED MASSIVE RAID & SEARCH OPERATION IS UNDERWAY. RAIDS HAVE BEEN CONDUCTED AT 19 LOCATIONS OF DELHI AND 6 LOCATIONS AT HARYANA BY THE 25 SEPARATE TEAMS. HUGE CASH 34.75 LACS AND GOLD JEWELLERY WORTH ABOUT 50 LACS HAS BEEN RECOVERED FROM THE HOUSE OF FINANCER OF KAPIL SANGWAN @ NANDU 8 COUNTRY MADE/SOPHISTICATED PISTOLS, 29 LIVE CARTRIDGES AND THREE MAGAZINES HAVE ALSO BEEN RECOVERED. SIX HABITUAL CRIMINALS INVOLVED IN FIRING/EXTORTION CASES HAVE BEEN ARRESTED DURING THE OPERATION. Balram SHO/BHD Nagar, Insp. Bahadur Singh, SHO/Jaffarpur, Insp. Anil Kumar SHO/Dwarka North, Inspr Mukesh Kumar, SHO Uttam Nagar, Insp. Kamlesh Kumar, I/c AATS, Insp. Vishvender I/c Special Staff, Insp. Subhash I/c Anti-Narcotics Cell, Insp. Manish, I/c PO & Jail Bail Cell, Insp. Vivek Mandoola I/c Anti Burglary Cell, Inspr Dinesh Kumar, PS Dwarka North, Inspr Rajesh Kumar and Inspr Mukesh Kumar of PS Mohan Garden, Inspr Ravi Kumar &Inspr Amit PS BHD Nagar, Inspr Sudhir, PS Chhawala, Inspr Surender PS Chhawla, Inspr. Bijender PS Dabri, Inspr Dinesh Kumar, PS Dwraka North, SI Naveen I/c PP Dwarka Sec-01, SI Rajat, I/c PP Dwarka Courts, SI Rakesh, SI Naveen, SI Jitender, SI Vinod Kumar of Operation units, comprising 380 police personnel conducted simultaneous searches at 19 locations in Delhi and 6 locations in Haryana. 26 persons found at these locations were detained and 06 have been arrested for various offences based on the recovery during the raids and searched. Detained as well as arrested person/accused belong to Kapil Sangwan @ Nandu Gang and Vicky Takkar gangs. During search operation, mobile phones and other electronic devices have also been taken into possession to find out the connection with the gangsters who are operating the gangs from abroad. Analysis of these devices is in progress. PROFILE OF ACCUSED PERSON: - 1. Accused Pawan @Prince S/o Padam R/O Gali No 13 Sainik Nagar Bahadurgarh Haryana Age 18 years has been apprehended with recovery of Sophisticated pistol and two live cartridges. He is sharp shooter of Kapil Sangwan @ Nandu and previously involved in highlighted firing cum extortion case of Raj Mandir Store, Pashchim Vihar and a workshop situated at Chhawala. 2. Accused Himanshu @ Machhi S/o Kuldeep Singh R/o RZA-92 Gali No 2 Sitapuri Part 2, Dabri Delhi age 24 years has been apprehended with recovery of country made pistol and live cartridges. He is associate of Vicky Takkar gang and previously involved in 7 cases of attempt to murder, arms act cases. 3. Accused Prashant S/o Jai Bhagwan R/o H No. RZ-149, Gali No. 4, East Krishna Vihar, Najafgarh, Delhi Age-32 Year has been apprehended with recovery of Sophisticated pistol and two live cartridges. He is sharp shooter of Kapil Sangwan @ Nandu and previously involved in 11 cases of firing, extortion and arms act. 4. Accused Rahul Diwakar @ Manpreet S/o Ramesh r/o RZ-123 Vishwas Park Uttam Nagar Near Surya Model School, Dabri Delhi age 25 years. He is associate of Vicky Takkar gang and previously involved in 20 cases attempt to murder, arms act & carjacking cases. 5. Accused Ankit Dhingra @ Noni S/o Ashok Dhingra R/o F Block Sultanpuri Delhi age 34 years, He is previously arrested in 10 cases Arms and robbery. Recently came into contact of Monu Dingra, a financer of Kapil Sangwan @ Nadu. 6. Accused Parveen @ Doctor S/o Dharambir R/o H.No.113, Shri Chand Park, Dharampura, Najafgarh, Delhi , Age 35 Year. He was previously involved in more than 25 criminal cases and he is also BC of PS Najafgarh. 7. Besides these accused person total 26 person have also been detained and interrogation is in progress.
