CRIME BRANCH Delhi Police Cyber Cell busted a major module involved in illegal printing of wrappers for spurious medicines and fake cosmetics, along with the printing unit supplying packaging material for fake drugs and cosmetics. FIR No.: 360/25 U/S 318(4)/336/340/61(2) BNS & 18A(1)/18(c)/27B(ii)/27(c) at Crime Branch, Delhi. Earlier, three accused—Shree Ram, Gaurav Bhagat, Parmod Kumar Gupta—were arrested in connection with manufacture and sale of spurious medicines. Two more accused involved in supplying printed wrapping boxes for spurious medicines, named “Clop-G” and “Skin Shine”, were arrested. A raid at Rama Road printing press led to recovery of two dye frames used for Skin Shine wrapper boxes and the busting of an active printing unit supplying packaging material for spurious medicines. Arrested: 1) Anil Singh Rawat (46), Burari, Delhi, running Khatu Shyam Printers at Rama Road, Delhi; printed wrapping boxes supplied to Shree Ram for illegal medicines (ointments/tubes); Recovery: two dye frames. 2) Rahul Agarwal (31), Nangli More, Delhi; placed orders for printed wrapping boxes for illegal medicines from Khatu Shyam Printers, Rama Road, Delhi. Investigation ongoing to identify and dismantle backward and forward linkages, including sources of raw materials and distribution network. Police Team led by Inspector Manjeet Kumar, with ASI Kanwarpal, HCs Vipin, Sohanpal, Rajesh, Anuj, Ct. Sachin; supervision by ACP Sh. Anil Sharma and guidance from DCP Sh. Aditya Gautam.
