It was prepared using acetone (nail polish remover), powdered sugar, urea, and other chemicals. This explosive, scientifically known as TATP (tri-acetone tri-peroxide), is considered one of the most unstable and dangerous explosives in the world. According to security agency officials, the chemicals, equipment, and residue recovered from Faridabad directly matched the materials found in the blast, linking the conspiracy directly to Umar. Interrogation of the arrested Muzammil revealed that Omar was fluent in nine languages, including Hindi, Urdu, English, Arabic, Persian, Chinese, and French. He spoke little, but concluded every advice with the same line: "This is the work of the religion; this question is not appropriate." Due to his influential personality, the other members of the module continued to accept his every plan as correct. Agencies recovered a de-freezer from his room number 4 at Al-Falah University, which he used to control the temperature of chemicals. His suitcase was also found filled with bomb-making materials. Investigators believe that the purchase of the AK-47, the preparation of TATP, and the technical monitoring of the secret chat group were all the brainchild of Omar. Arrested suspected terrorists revealed that the July 2023 Nuh violence, the Nasir-Junaid murders, and the Burhan Wani case sparked Umar's desire for major action. He repeatedly told his associates that the country's climate had deteriorated, society was divided, and a genocide-like situation could develop, so it was essential to be prepared. This radical mindset shaped his first meeting in 2022, when he met Muzammil, Dr. Adeel, Dr. Shaheen, and Mufti Irfan in Srinagar. Omar created a secret chat group in Chinese. All names, messages, and instructions were in Chinese. In 2022, the module also ordered AK-47s. Dr. Shaheen, formerly an assistant professor in Saudi Arabia, became the network's biggest financial backer. She donated approximately 2.5 million rupees from her account to the module, while Adeel acted as the network's treasurer. Investigations revealed that this module's next major plot was to launch a major TATP-like attack on security forces in Jammu and Kashmir. However, the arrest of Mufti Irfan in October 2025 disrupted the entire network. The same Chinese-language secret group was recovered from his phone, which was deciphered and led to the arrest of Muzammil and other accused in Faridabad.
