Hyderabad: The Bhagyanagar Ganesh Utsava Samithi met the Director General of Police (DGP), Telangana State, and submitted a representation seeking immediate and stringent action on several key issues. The organisation urged authorities to identify and arrest illegal Bangladeshi and Rohingya infiltrators allegedly residing across Telangana and initiate the process for their immediate deportation. They also demanded strict measures to curb the rising instances of attacks on Hindu temples and other religious institutions in the state. Further, the Samithi called for ensuring the safety and security of the Hindu community against what they described as targeted threats and communal provocations. Speaking to Zee Media, R. Sashidhar reiterated the need for prompt and decisive action by the state authorities.
