150 OGWs Detained during night long operations in central Kashmir and south kashmir The Jammu and Kashmir Police has detained over 150 overground workers (OGWs) allegedly linked to proscribed terror outfits, including Jaish-e-Mohammad, during a city-wide action in Srinagar. The over ground workers were called to their respective police stations across the Srinagar city and south Kashmir and detained for further questioning. The detentions were carried out by teams from local police units and other security wings as part of preventive and intelligence-based measures. Police sources said the questioning is aimed at verifying inputs related to terror support networks, including logistical and facilitation roles. The detained persons are being examined at different police stations across Srinagar, and no arrests have been formally announced so far.
