ਹੈਰੀਟੇਜ ਸਟਰੀਟ ਨਾਲ ਬਦਲੇਗੀ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਅਨੰਦਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਨੁਹਾਰ" ਖਾਲਸੇ ਦੀ ਜਨਮ ਭੂਮੀ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਅਨੰਦਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਿਕ ਰੂਪ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਨਿਖਾਰਨ ਲਈ 25 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਲਾਗਤ ਨਾਲ ਬਣਨ ਵਾਲੀ "ਹੈਰੀਟੇਜ ਸਟਰੀਟ" ਦਾ ਨੀਂਹ ਪੱਥਰ ਕੱਲ੍ਹ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਮਾਨਯੋਗ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਨ ਜੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰੋਜੈਕਟ ਨੂੰ ਤਿੰਨ ਹਿੱਸਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁਕੰਮਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ— -ਪਹਿਲੇ ਪੜਾਅ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁੱਖ ਮਾਰਗ ਤੋਂ ਤਖਤ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਕੇਸਗੜ੍ਹ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਤੱਕ। - ਦੂਜੇ ਪੜਾਅ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਖਤ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਤੋਂ ਗੁ: ਸੀਸ ਗੰਜ ਸਾਹਿਬ - ਗੁ: ਭੋਰਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਤੱਕ। - ਤੀਜੇ ਪੜਾਅ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਖਤ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਤੋਂ ਕਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਅਨੰਦਗੜ੍ਹ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਤੱਕ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਭਗਤ ਰਵਿਦਾਸ ਚੌਂਕ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਬਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਸੁੰਦਰੀਕਰਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।

Noida, Uttar Pradesh:Pentagon's beard ban is a violation of religious freedom, says North American Punjabi Association October 04, 2025 - The North American Punjabi Association (NAPA) has expressed deep concern and strong opposition to the Pentagon’s latest directive rolling back religious accommodations for facial hair in the U.S. military. Executive Director of the North American Punjabi Association Satnam Singh Chahal said that the policy, announced shortly after U.S. Secretary of Defence Pete Hegseth’s September 30 speech at Marine Corps Base Quantico, directs all branches to return to “pre-2010 standards” for grooming. He said the new rules state that “facial hair waivers are generally not authorized.” He further said that it would create serious implications for Sikhs, Orthodox Jews, Muslims, and other religious minorities whose faith requires them to maintain beards and other articles of faith. Chahal said this move represents a betrayal of trust for those who have fought for years to gain religious accommodation in the armed forces. “This decision is not about discipline or lethality—it is about stripping away the dignity and religious identity of devout soldiers who serve this country with loyalty and honour,” he stated. He emphasised that for Sikhs, keeping unshorn hair (Kesh) is a non-negotiable religious mandate, and banning beards effectively excludes Sikh Americans from military service unless they abandon their faith. “Asking a Sikh soldier to shave his beard is the same as asking him to give up his religion,” Chahal said. NAPA has called on the Trump administration, members of Congress, and civil rights organizations to immediately intervene and halt the implementation of the Pentagon’s directive. The association warned that this rollback could force hundreds of devout service members to make the impossible choice between their religious beliefs and their military careers. He further added that at a time when diversity and inclusion are supposed to be the hallmarks of American democracy, this policy takes us backwards. The U.S. military should not punish soldiers for practising their faith—it should honour their service and sacrifice.” NAPA reaffirmed its solidarity with Sikh soldiers and other religious minorities in the armed forces and pledged to pursue all available advocacy through diplomatic channels to reverse what it described as a regressive and discriminatory policy.

Noida, Uttar Pradesh:US defence secretary Pete Hegseth’s September 30 directive to all branches to return to ‘pre-2010 standards’ for grooming does not allow facial hair waivers, This memorandum provides implementing guidance pursuant to the August 20, 2025, directive, "Grooming Standards for Facial Hair," which established uniform grooming standards across the Force. In an era of increasingly complex operational demands - including high-tempo deployments, multi-domain warfare, and expanded emergency response roles - strict grooming compliance ensures personnel can safely and effectively employ protective equipment. This is critical not only for defense against chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) threats, but also for firefighting, disaster relief, and other hazardous mission sets where respiratory protection may be required, often on short notice. These standards are essential to maintaining equipment compatibility, operational readiness, and deployable force posture. Accession Standards -All applicants, including reentry candidates, must meet grooming standards prior to entry. -Applicants unable to comply will be deferred from accession until standards are met. In-Service Compliance -All personnel must maintain a clean-shaven face. -Sideburns will be above the ear opening. -Beards, goatees, and other facial hair are prohibited unless specifically authorized. -Mustaches are authorized but will be neatly trimmed not to extend past the mouth corners or into a respirator seal zone. -Special Operations Forces units may request modified standards via validated mission-essential requirements. However, personnel will be clean-shaven when deployed to environments with a high threat of CBRN attack. Religious Accommodations -The Department will revert to pre-2010 standards; facial hair waivers are generally not authorized. -Individualized review required per Department of War Instruction 1300.17, "Religious Liberty in the Military Services," of September 1, 2020. -Documentation demonstrating the sincerity of the religious or sincerely held belief will be a central factor in evaluating accommodation requests and must be sufficient to support a good faith determination by the approving authority. Approvals will be limited to non-deployable roles with low risk of chemical attack or firefighting requirements.

Noida, Uttar Pradesh:जालंधर से बड़ी खबर—पुलिस को मिली बड़ी कामयाबी! जालन्धर ग्रामीण पुलिस ने दो फरार आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार कर लिया। दोनों पर हत्या और ड्रग तस्करी समेत कई गंभीर मामले दर्ज थे。 अदमपुर पुलिस ने कार्रवाई करते हुए दो खतरनाक अपराधियों को पकड़ लिया。 गिरफ्तार किए गए आरोपियों में गुरनाम कुमार उर्फ गोगी और मंजीत सिंह उर्फ घोरी शामिल हैं। पुलिस ने उनके कब्जे से एक 32 बोर की पिस्तौल, दो जिंदा कारतूस और एक मोटरसाइकिल बरामद की है。 जानकारी के मुताबिक, पुलिस गश्त के दौरान जब आरोपियों ने भागने की कोशिश की तो उन्होंने पुलिस पर फायरिंग भी की। जवाबी कार्रवाई में पुलिस ने दोनों को काबू कर लिया。 एसएसपी Harvinder singh virk दोनों आरोपी हत्या, लूट, एनडीपीएस और आर्म्स एक्ट के कई मामलों में वांछित थे और लंबे समय से फरार चल रहे थे जालंधर ग्रामीण पुलिस की इस कार्रवाई से एक बार फिर साफ हुआ है कि अपराधियों पर शिकंजा कसने में पुलिस पूरी तरह सक्रिय है।

Noida, Uttar Pradesh:NIA CHARGESHEETS 11 ACCUSED IN BKI-ORCHESTRATED PUNJAB POLICE STATION RPG ATTACK CASE New Delhi, 4th October 2025 The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has chargesheeted 11 accused in the April 2025 case related to the BKI orchestrated Rocket Propelled Grenade (RPG) terror attack at the Qila Lal Singh police station in Batala district of Punjab. The accused, who are all under arrest, have been charged under various provisions of BNS 2023, UA (P) Act, Arms Act and Explosive Substances Act in the chargesheet filed before the NIA Special Court, Mohali, Punjab. Another 11 accused identified in the case are still absconding. Foreign-based Handlers of the proscribed Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) terrorist organisation, namely Harpreet Singh Happy Passia, Mannu Agwan and Gurpreet Singh Gopi Navasherian, had publicly claimed responsibility for the attack, which took place late on the night of 6th April this year. The attack was executed by BKI members, with active support from foreign-based operatives, with the intent to spread terror and promote the agenda of anti-India groups. Investigations by NIA, which took over the case from the state police in May, revealed that the conspiracy was directed by foreign-based terror operatives, who exploited family ties and other vulnerabilities. They used social media platforms to radicalize and recruit vulnerable youth in Punjab to unleash terrorism against India. NIA is continuing to investigate the case under Section 193(9) BNSS in an effort to nab the absconders and any other unidentified conspirators involved in the attack.

Bhadaur, Punjab:ਸ਼ਹਿਣਾ ਦੀ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਸਰਪੰਚ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੁਖਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਕਲਕੱਤਾ ਦਾ ਦਿਨ ਦਿਹਾੜੇ ਕ.ਤ.ਲ ਭਦੌੜ 4 ਅਕਤੂਬਰ ਸਹਿਬ ਸੰਧੂ - ਸਹਿਣਾ ਦੀ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਸਰਪੰਚ ਮਲਕੀਤ ਕੌਰ ਕਲਕੱਤਾ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸੁਖਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਕਲਕੱਤਾ 45 ਸਾਲ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਕੇਹਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਦਾ ਮੇਨ ਬੱਸ ਸਟੈਂਡ ਸਹਿਣਾ ਤੇ ਗੋਲੀਆਂ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਕਤਲ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ, ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਸੁਖਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਕਲਕੱਤਾ ਭਾਈ ਮੂਲ ਚੰਦ ਪ੍ਰੋਪਰਟੀ ਡੀਲਰ ਦੇ ਦਫ਼ਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਮ වਾਂਗ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੋਸਤਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ, ਇੱਕ ਅਣਪਛਾਤਾ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਗੱਡੀ ਤੇ ਆਇਆ ਕਲਕੱਤਾ ਤੇ ਗੋਲੀਆਂ ਮਾਰ ਕੇ ਫ਼ਰਾਰ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ, ਕਲਕੱਤੇ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਦੀ ਖ਼ਬਰ ਅੱਗ ਵਾਂਗ ਫੈਲਦਿਆਂ ਹੀ ਸਹਿਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਲ ਲਗਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਪਿੰਡਾਂ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਬਰਨਾਲਾ ਬਾਜਾਖਾਨਾ ਰੋਡ ਨੂੰ ਮਕੁੰਮਲ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਜਾਮ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ, ਧਰਨੇ ਨੂੰ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੇ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਇਨਸਾਫ ਦਿਵਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਨੂੰ ਲੈਕੇ ਧਰਨਾ ਲਗਾਈ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਬਰਨਾਲਾ ਪੁਲਸ ਨੇ ਲਾ਼ਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਬਜ਼ੇ ਚ ਲੈ ਪੋਸਟਮਾਰਟਮ ਲਈ ਮੋਰਚੀ ਰੱਖਵਾਇਆ ਹੈ

हिमाचल के सिरमौर में वायरल चेक मामले में शिक्षा विभाग ने अतर सिंह सस्पेंड

Shimla, Himachal Pradesh:देश भर में सुर्खियों में छाए हिमाचल प्रदेश के सिरमौर जिले के राजकीय वरिष्ठ माध्यमिक स्कूल रोनहाट प्रबंधन की तरफ से 25 सितंबर को जारी गलतियों से भरे वायरल चेक के मामले में शनिवार शाम शिक्षा विभाग ने स्कूल में तैनात मिड-डे मील इंचार्ज/ड्राइंग मास्टर अतर सिंह को सस्पेंड कर दिया है. मामला हिमाचल प्रदेश के सिरमौर जिला के राजकीय वरिष्ठ माध्यमिक स्कूल रोनहाट से जुड़ा है. प्रबंधन की तरफ से जारी किए गए एक बैंक चेक की तस्वीर सोशल मीडिया पर जमकर वायरल हो रहा है. यह चेक 25 सितंबर को ड्राइंग मास्टर अतर सिंह के नाम पर जारी किया गया था. इस चेक की चर्चा भुगतान के लिए नहीं, बल्कि चेक पर मौजूद स्पेलिंग की गलतियों के कारण देश भर में रही.

Rupnagar, Punjab:ਰੋਪੜ ਅੱਜ ਦੇਰ ਸ਼ਾਮ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਚਮਕੌਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਥੀਮ ਪਾਰਕ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਰੋਪੜ ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਰੋਡ ਉੱਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਦਰਦਨਾਕ ਹਾਦਸੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੋ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਹੋਣ ਦੀ ਖਬਰ ਹੈ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਮੁਤਾਬਿਕ ਸੁਜੋਕੀ Fronx ਕਾਰ ਨੰਬਰ ਐਚਪੀ 32 ਸੀ 8900 ਜੋ ਕਿ ਲੁਧਿਆਣੇ ਤੋਂ ਹਿਮਾਚਲ ਵੱਲ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ ਤਾਂ ਅਚਾਨਕ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਤੋਂ ਆ ਰਹੀ ਮਹਿੰਦਰਾ ਪਿਕਅਪ ਗੱਡੀ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਆਮੋ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਟੱਕਰ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਵਾਰ ਤਿੰਨ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਦੋ ਦੀ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਹੀ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਸੱਟਾਂ ਲੱਗਣ ਕਾਰਨ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਚਮਕੌਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਸਿਵਲ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਖਲ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਤੋਂ ਮਿਲੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਕਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਵਾਰ ਤਿੰਨੋਂ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਫੌਜ ਦੇ ਜਵਾਨ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਫਿਰੋਜ਼ਪੁੁਰ ਤੋਂ ਛੁੱਟੀ ਕੱਟਣ ਲਈ ਹਿਮਾਚਲ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ ਰਸਤੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਚਮਕੌਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਿਖੇ ਇਹ ਹਾਦਸਾ ਵਾਪਰ ਗਿਆ ਮ੍ਰਿਤਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੁਲਦੀਪ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਲਗਭਗ 24 ਸਾਲ ਕਾਂਗੜੇ ਹਿਮਾਚਲ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਦਾ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਦੂਜਾ ਮ੍ਰਿਤਕ ਧਰਮੇਸ਼ ਸਿੰਘ ਉਮਰ ਲਗਭਗ 26 ਸਾਲ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਮੰਡੀ ਹਿਮਾਚਲ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਦਾ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ ਤੀਜਾ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਜਖਮੀ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਸਿਰਮੌਰ ਪਾਟਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦਾ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲਾ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਮ੍ਰਿਤਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਡੈਡ ਬਾਡੀ ਰੋਪੜ ਦੇ ਮੋਰਚਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਖਵਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਅਗਲੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ
