Chandigarh, Chandigarh:चंडीगढ़ यूनिवर्सिटी में लॉन्च हुआ पद्मश्री हंस राज हंस का नया गीत ‘आजा दोवें नचिए’ युवराज हंस, देसी क्रू, शमशेर सिंह संधू समेत कई नामचीन हस्तियां रहीं मौजूद, कलाकारों ने गीत की खासियत साझा की चंडीगढ़। चंडीगढ़ यूनिवर्सिटी में बुधवार को पद्मश्री से सम्मानित प्रसिद्ध सूफी एवं लोकगायक हंस राज हंस के नए पंजाबी गीत ‘आजा दोवें नचिए’ का भव्य लॉन्च किया गया। कार्यक्रम में बड़ी संख्या में विद्यार्थियों, संगीत प्रेमियों और गणमान्य लोगों ने भाग लिया। इस अवसर पर हंस राज हंस के साथ उनके बेटे एवं लोकप्रिय गायक युवराज हंस व नवराज़ हंस भी मौजूद रहे। पंजाबी संगीत और साहित्य जगत की प्रतिष्ठित हस्ती शमशेर सिंह संधू, संगीतकार जोड़ी देसी क्रू, गायक हरप्रीत सेखों, गुरलेज अख्तर, बॉबी बाजवा तथा गीत से जुड़े अन्य कलाकारों ने भी कार्यक्रम की शोभा बढ़ाई। कार्यक्रम के दौरान कलाकारों ने गीत के निर्माण से जुड़े अनुभव साझा किए और बताया कि ‘आजा दोवें नचिए’ पारंपरिक पंजाबी लोक संगीत और आधुनिक संगीत शैली का खूबसूरत संगम है। हंस राज हंस और युवराज हंस की जुगलबंदी को दर्शकों ने खूब सराहा। लॉन्च के दौरान गीत का पहला सार्वजनिक प्रदर्शन किया गया, जिसे उपस्थित लोगों व चंडीगढ़ यूनिवर्सिटी के स्टूडेंट्स ने तालियों की गड़गड़ाहट के साथ स्वागत किया। इसके बाद कलाकारों ने विद्यार्थियों और मीडिया से बातचीत करते हुए पंजाबी संगीत की समृद्ध विरासत और नई पीढ़ी तक इसे पहुंचाने की आवश्यकता पर भी अपने विचार रखे। चंडीगढ़ यूनिवर्सिटी के डिपार्टमेंट ऑफ डीएसीए के सेमिनार हॉल में आयोजित इस कार्यक्रम में शिक्षा, संगीत, फिल्म और सामाजिक क्षेत्र से जुड़ी अनेक प्रमुख हस्तियां भी शामिल हुईं। पूरे आयोजन के दौरान उत्साह और सांस्कृतिक रंग देखने को मिला।0

Chandigarh, Chandigarh:The Punjab State & Chandigarh (UT) Human Rights Commission, comprising Hon’ble Chairperson Justice Sant Parkash, Hon’ble Member Justice Gurbir Singh and Hon’ble Member Jitender Singh Shunty (Padma Shri awardee), took suo motu cognizance of two news items and called for reports from the concerned authorities by the next date of hearing. The commission perused the news-item indicating that a PhD scholar from the Department of Microbiology at Panjab University died of suspected electrocution from exposed live wires near Girls’ Hostel 8 on Tuesday morning. She was rushed to Government Multi-Specialty Hospital (GMSH), Sector 16, where doctors declared her brought dead. The incident sparked outrage on the university campus, with students protesting outside the V.C.’s office, demanding accountability and immediate action. During the protest, students broke open the gate of the V.C.’s office and entered the premises. Deceased’s family has demanded a CBI probe. The Commission has called for reports from the Chief Engineer, UT Chandigarh and the Vice Chancellor, Panjab University, Chandigarh before the next date of hearing. A copy of the order, along with a copy of the news-item, should be sent to the Chief Engineer, UT Chandigarh and the Vice Chancellor, Panjab University, Chandigarh through email and by post for compliance.0

Chandigarh, Chandigarh:Information and Public Relations Department, Punjab PUNJAB POLICE LAUNCHES e-ZERO FIR MECHANISM FOR SWIFT ACTION IN CYBER FINANCIAL FRAUD CASES — NEW MECHANISM DESIGNED TO ELIMINATE DELAYS IN THE REGISTRATION OF FIRS AND ENSURE IMMEDIATE ACTION IN CYBER FINANCIAL FRAUD CASES: DGP GAURAV YADAV — SPECIAL DGP V NEERAJA URGES CITIZENS TO REPORT CYBER FINANCIAL FRAUDS IMMEDIATELY BY DIALLING HELPLINE 1930 OR AT NCRP PORTAL CHANDIGARH, July 29: Marking a major milestone in strengthening the State’s response to cyber-enabled financial crimes as desired by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, Punjab Police has operationalised the e-Zero FIR mechanism for cyber financial fraud cases involving fraudulent transactions above ₹5 lakh. The mechanism was formally launched on Tuesday, following the issuance of the Standing Order by Director General of Police (DGP) Punjab Gaurav Yadav. The e-Zero FIR mechanism enables eligible cyber financial fraud complaints reported through the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (NCRP) or the National Cyber Crime Helpline 1930 to be automatically converted into e-Zero FIRs and electronically transmitted through the Crime and Criminal Tracking Network & Systems (CCTNS) to the concerned Cyber Crime Police Station in districts or Commissionerates of Police for immediate investigation. DGP Punjab Gaurav Yadav said that as per the Standing Order, complaints involving cyber financial fraud of ₹1 crore or more will be transferred to the State Cyber Crime Police Station, Mohali, for registration and investigation. He highlighted that the new mechanism has been designed to eliminate delays in the registration of FIRs and ensure immediate action to freeze bank accounts, digital wallets, and other payment instruments used in cyber frauds, preserve electronic evidence, coordinate with financial intermediaries, and initiate prompt investigation to maximise recovery of the defrauded money. "The first few hours after a cyber financial fraud are the most critical for tracing and freezing funds. By enabling automatic registration, the e-Zero FIR system empowers investigating officers to take urgent legal and technical measures without procedural delays," the DGP added. Under the system, victims will also be informed immediately about the registration of their e-Zero FIR, details of the concerned Cyber Crime Police Station, the Investigating Officer, and the procedure for completing statutory formalities under the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023. Special DGP Cyber Crime V Neeraja emphasised that the mechanism strengthens coordination among the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (NCRP), the Cyber Crime Helpline (1930), CCTNS, banks, financial institutions, telecom service providers, intermediaries and law enforcement agencies, ensuring a faster and more effective response to cyber financial frauds. The Special DGP appealed to citizens to report cyber financial frauds immediately through the National Cyber Crime Helpline 1930 or the NCRP portal without delay, emphasizing that prompt reporting greatly improves the possibility of freezing fraudulent transactions and recovering the defrauded amount. Meanwhile, the State Cyber Crime Division, Punjab, will monitor the implementation of the e-Zero FIR mechanism across the State to ensure timely registration, transfer, investigation, and supervision of cyber financial fraud cases.0

Bathinda, Punjab:ਵਨ ਟੂ ਵਨ ਕੇਵਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਢਿੱਲੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਭਾਜਪਾ पंजाब ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਦੀਆਂ 117 ਦੀਆਂ 117 ਸੀਟਾਂ ਤੇ ਲੜੇਗੀ ਇਲੈਕਸ਼ਨ.. ਕੇਵਲ ਢਿੱਲੋਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਨਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਗੱਠ ਜੋੜ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਦਾ ਕਾਟੋ ਕਲੇਸ਼ ਸਿਰਫ ਸੀਟਾਂ ਤੇ ਬੈਠਣ ਦੀ ਭੁੱਖ ਹੈ ਇਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਠੀਕ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਭੇਸ਼ ਬਗੇਲ ਭਾਵੇਂ ਜਿੰਨੇ ਵਾਰੀ ਮਰਜ਼ੀ ਆ ਜਾਵੇ ਇਹ ਕਲੇਸ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਨਿਬੜੇਗਾ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਗੈਂਗਸਟਰਵਾਦ ਲੁੱਟ ਘਸੁੱਟ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਫੀਆ ਚੋਰਾਂ ਤੇ ਚੱਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਜੇ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਅਸਤੀਫਾ ਦੇ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਛੇ ਪੇਪਰ ਲੀਕ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ ਤਾਂ ਇੱਥੋਂ ਦਾ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਕਿਉਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੇ ਰਿਹਾ ਇਸਤੀਫਾ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਦੇ ਨਵੇਂ ਬਣੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਕੇਵਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਢਿੱਲੋਂ ਅੱਜ ਬਠਿੰਡਾ ਦੇ ਹਲਕਾ ਤਲਵੰਡੀ ਸਾਬੋ ਚ ਪੈਂਦੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਗਾਟਵਾਲੀ ਇੱਕ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਏ ਜਿਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਤਖਤ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਦਮਦਮਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਮੱਥਾ ਟੇਕਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਨਤ ਮਸਤਕ ਹੋਏ ਇਸ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਵੱਡੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਤੇ ਆਗੂਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਲਾਇਆ ਉੱਥੇ ਹੀ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੇ ਕੁਝ ਨਵੇਂ ਚਿਹਰੇ ਵੀ ਜਿਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਹੁਦੇਦਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਆ ਇਸ ਉਪਰੰਤ ਜੀ ਮੀਡੀਆ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਕੇਵਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਢਿੱਲੋ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਦੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਜਰੂਰਤ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਡਬਲ ਇੰਜਨ ਦੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਹੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੀ ਤਰੱਕੀ ਕਰਵਾ ਸਕੇਗੀ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਟਾਈਮ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੁੰਡਾਗਰਦੀ ਗੈਂਗਸਟਰ ਬਾਅਦ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਫੀਆ ਜੋਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਆਦਮੀ ਸੇਫ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ 2027 ਦੀਆਂ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਇਕੱਲੇ ਹੀ 117 ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਸੀਟਾਂ ਤੇ ਚੁਣਾਵ ਲੜੇਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਜਿੱਤ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰੇਗੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਠ ਜੋੜ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਦਾ ਕਾਟੋ ਕਲੇਸ਼ ਖਤਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਚਾਹੇ ਭੁਪੇਸ਼ ਬਘੇਲ ਜਿੰਨੇ ਵਾਰ ਮਰਜ਼ੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਆਵੇ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇਹ ਕੁਰਸੀ ਦੇ ਭੁੱਖੇ ਹਨ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਕੁਝ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਜੰਤਰ ਮੰਤਰ ਤੇ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਟੂਡੈਂਟ ਸਾਰੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਹੀ ਬੱਚੇ ਸਨ ਅਸੀਂ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਦੇ ਉੱਪਰ ਆਪਣੇ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਬਦਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਵੀ ਸਖਤ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ 10 ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਸਜ਼ਾ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ ਪਰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੀ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਅਸਤੀਫਾ ਲਵੇ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਕੇਵਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਢਿੱਲੋ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਵਨ ਟੂ ਵਨ ਕੁਲਬੀਰ ਬੀਰਾ।0

Noida, Uttar Pradesh:Punjab Police Intensifies Border Security Commissionerate Police Amritsar Recovers Over 111 Kg Heroin, Busts Dubai-Based Drug Cartel\n\nCommissionerate Police Amritsar registers 1,137 NDPS Cases, Arrests Over 2,000 Accused Since January\n\n Punjab Police Operations Achieving Massive Success Across State: DGP Gaurav Yadav\n\nAmritsar Police Bust Dubai-Based Drug Cartel After Last Year’s Pakistan-Canada Network Crackdown: Gurpreet Singh Bhullar, Commissioner of Police, Amritsar\n\nCHANDIGARH/AMRITSAR, July 29:\n\nAs Punjab Police continues its multi-pronged campaign against drugs, gangsters and organised crime, the Commissionerate Police, Amritsar has emerged as one of the strongest examples of the force’s intelligence-led policing model. Over the last nearly seven months, the border district has delivered major successes against cross-border drug smuggling, organised crime and street crime, reinforcing public safety in one of Punjab’s most sensitive regions.\n\nSince January this year, the Commissionerate Police has recovered over 111.5 kg of heroin, registered 1,137 NDPS cases, arrested more than 2,000 accused under various operations, dismantled a cross-border drug cartel, strengthened community policing and enhanced surveillance across the city under the Bhagwant Mann Government’s ongoing campaigns against drugs, gangsters and organised crime.\n\nUnder the anti-gangster campaign ‘Gangstran Te Vaar’, the Commissionerate Police registered 63 Arms Act cases and arrested 153 accused. The sustained crackdown led to the recovery of 209 pistols/mausers, two revolvers, eight rifles/guns, 221 magazines, 536 live cartridges and ₹3.80 lakh linked to hawala transactions. Besides arresting gangsters and their associates, police also took preventive action against individuals linked to criminal organisations.\n\nTo strengthen investigations and crime detection, the Commissionerate Police has integrated advanced technology with traditional policing. The Punjab Artificial Intelligence System (PAIS) is being used for identity verification, while the VAHAN database enables instant vehicle verification during nakas and search operations. A Digital Forensic Laboratory has also been established to examine mobile phones, electronic devices and digital evidence. CCTV surveillance and technology-driven intelligence have further enhanced operational efficiency and investigative capabilities.\n\nThe Commissionerate Police also dealt a major blow to cross-border drug trafficking by dismantling a Dubai-based network that smuggled heroin into Punjab through drone deliveries across the International Border. Amritsar Police recovered 30.045 kg of heroin and arrested six accused, including two juveniles.\n\nOn this, DGP Punjab Police Gaurav Yadav stated, "Various operations being run across the state by the Punjab Police have achieved a massive success. Amritsar, being the border-sharing district demands extra supervision and the Punjab Police personnel are performing their duties using a massive human and artificial intelligence."\n\nMeanwhile, Commissioner of Police (Amritsar) Gurpreet Singh Bhullar stated, "Last year, we busted a Pakistan- and Canada-linked international drug cartel, leading to the recovery of 60.302 kg of heroin near the International Border in Barmer, Rajasthan. It also led to the arrest of nine accused. This year, we zeroed in on a Dubai-based cartel."\n\nAs part of the ongoing ‘Yudh Nashean Virudh’ campaign, the Commissionerate Police intensified its crackdown on drug trafficking and abuse by registering 1,137 NDPS cases and arresting 1,898 accused. Since January, police have recovered 111.559 kg of heroin, 11.438 kg of Ice (Methamphetamine), 9.246 kg of opium, 2.245 kg of charas, 238 grams of narcotic powder, one kg of poppy husk and 26,945 intoxicating capsules and tablets. Police also recovered ₹61.12 lakh in drug money and seized 38 vehicles used in drug trafficking.\n\n“Alongside strict enforcement, equal emphasis has been placed on rehabilitation. The Commissionerate Police has admitted 1,553 individuals to De-Addiction Centres. while 2,443 have been referred to Outpatient Opioid Assisted Treatment (OOAT) Centres. A total of 281 individuals have also been extended the benefit of Section 64-A of the NDPS Act,” added the Commissioner of Police, Amritsar.\n\nRecognising that public participation is central to effective policing, the Commissionerate Police organised 162 Project Sampark meetings and 83 anti-drug awareness camps-cum-seminars to strengthen police-community engagement and spread awareness against drug abuse.\n\n“The Commissionerate Police, Amritsar has adopted a proactive, intelligence-led policing model to ensure round-the-clock public safety. A total of 86 patrol vehicles with 181 police personnel and 21 motorcycles with 25 personnel have been deployed in twin shifts for continuous patrolling and rapid response. To strengthen the city’s security grid, 19 strategically located night checkpoints, manned by 81 police personnel, have been established at all major entry and exit points with proper barricading, weapons and regular supervision by senior officers,” said Commissioner of Police, Amritsar.\n\nThe sustained enforcement drive also resulted in 82,274 traffic challans, impounding of 5,400 vehicles and issuance of 24,002 on-the-spot challans, leading to the collection of ₹44.48 lakh in fines. Preventive policing further led to 1,609 preventive actions and the detention of 2,950 individuals to maintain public order and deter criminal activity.0
