शिमला पुलिस ने पंथाघाटी से 505 ग्राम चरस बरामद किया; नेपाली युवक गिरफ्तार

Prioritising the working conditions of frontline staff, the Finance Minister issued immediate directives to both the Health and Family Welfare Department and the Rural Development and Panchayat Department. He mandated that adequate arrangements be made to facilitate Asha workers and facilitators by providing them with proper spaces, such as Panchayat Ghars or other suitable Panchayat buildings, to conduct vital vaccination drives on alternate days. During the extensive deliberations, the Finance Minister took decisive steps to address the structural and administrative hurdles faced by the employees. He directed the Health Department to promptly formulate and submit a proposal to the cabinet sub-committee concerning the provision of casual leaves and other legitimate demands raised by the Asha workers and facilitators, ensuring that appropriate action is taken at the earliest. Furthermore, Cheema assured the delegations that their remaining key demands are already under active consideration by the government, and a favourable decision regarding them will be announced soon. Recognising that the primary concerns of the broader workforce revolve around salary enhancements, pay parity, fair leave policies, and transparent transfers, the Finance Minister directed the Health Department to present all justified issues before the Inter-Departmental Committee. To guarantee swift redressal without bureaucratic delays, he strictly directed this committee to convene once a week. The marathon sessions witnessed active participation from a diverse coalition of employee representatives who submitted detailed memorandums outlining their specific departmental challenges. The dialogue included crucial inputs from the All India Asha Workers and Facilitators Union. Asha Workers and Facilitator Punjab (CITU) and the Asha Workers and Facilitator Narol Union. Additionally, key systemic issues regarding equal pay and regularization were brought forward by the N.H.M. Employees Union. the Community Health Officers Association, the Pharmacy Officer's Association, the Rural Health Pharmacy Officer Union. and the Health Pharmacy Officer Association Punjab. The discussions also heavily featured the unique operational demands of the Govt. Drug De-Addiction & Rehabilitation Employee Union, the Punjab Aids Control Employees Association (Health Department), and the PCMS Dental Association, reflecting the government's comprehensive approach to stabilising and supporting every tier of the state's healthcare infrastructure. Chandigarh, Chandigarh:विश्व मानक दिवस 2026 के अवसर पर भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो ने संयुक्त राष्ट्र के सतत विकास लक्ष्य-7: किफायती एवं स्वच्छ ऊर्जा की प्राप्ति में मानकों की भूमिका को रेखांकित किया चंडीगढ़, 14 अक्टूबर 2026: भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो, उत्तर क्षेत्रीय कार्यालय, चंडीगढ़ द्वारा होटल शिवालिकव्यू, चंडीगढ़ में विश्व मानक दिवस 2026 मनाया गया। इस वर्ष का विषय "बेहतर विश्व के लिए साझा दृष्टिकोण - सतत विकास लक्ष्य-7: किफायती एवं स्वच्छ ऊर्जा" था。 प्रत्येक वर्ष 14 अक्टूबर को विश्वभर में विश्व मानक दिवस मनाया जाता है। इसका उद्देश्य हमारे दैनिक जीवन तथा वैश्विक आर्थिक एवं सामाजिक विकास में मानकों की महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका को रेखांकित करना और उन हजारों विशेषज्ञों के योगदान के प्रति सम्मान व्यक्त करना है, जो आपसी सहमति एवं सहयोग के माध्यम से इन मानकों का विकास करते हैं। इस अवसर पर हरियाणा सरकार के खाद्य, नागरिक आपूर्ति तथा उपभोक्ता मामले एवं मुद्रण तथा लेखन सामग्री के माननीय राज्य मंत्री श्री राजेश नागर मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में उपस्थित रहे। उपस्थित अन्य गणमान्य व्यक्तियों में चंडीगढ़ के माननीय महापौर श्री सौरभ जोशी; हरियाणा सरकार के खाद्य, नागरिक आपूर्ति एवं उपभोक्ता मामले विभाग की प्रमुख सचिव सुश्री अमनीत पी. कुमार; उद्योग जगत के प्रतिनिधि, बी आई एस लाइसेंसधारी, उपभोक्ता संगठन, तकनीकी विशेषज्ञ तथा अन्य हितधारक भी उपस्थित रहे。 हरियाणा के खाद्य, नागरिक आपूर्ति तथा उपभोक्ता मामले एवं मुद्रण तथा लेखन सामग्री के माननीय राज्य मंत्री श्री राजेश नागर जी ने गुणवत्ता, सतत विकास और आर्थिक वृद्धि को बढ़ावा देने में मानकों के महत्व को रेखांकित किया। उन्होंने कहा कि विश्व मानक दिवस हमें यह स्मरण कराता है कि भारत वैश्विक मानकीकरण व्यवस्था का एक अभिन्न अंग है। उन्होंने इस बात पर प्रकाश डाला कि परस्पर जुड़ती जा रही दुनिया में भारतीय उद्योग अकेला रहकर कार्य नहीं कर सकता और हरियाणा अथवा भारत के किसी भी भाग में निर्मित उत्पादों को न केवल देश के भीतर, बल्कि अंतर्राष्ट्रीय बाज़ारों में भी उपभोक्ताओं की अपेक्षाओं पर खरा उतरना होगा। उन्होंने आगे कहा कि इस संदर्भ में भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो (BIS) की भूमिका अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण है, क्योंकि बीआईएस वह संस्थागत ढाँचा प्रदान करता है, जिसके माध्यम से भारत उत्पादों, प्रक्रियाओं एवं सेवाओं के लिए मानकों का विकास, अनुरक्षण और संवर्धन करता है। उन्होंने इस बात पर बल दिया कि भारत में निर्मित प्रत्येक उत्पाद पर विश्वभर में विश्वास किया जाना चाहिए। आईएसआई मार्क, बीआईएस प्रमाणन तथा हॉलमार्किंग उपभोक्ताओं के लिए विश्वसनीयता और विश्वास के प्रतीक हैं। मानकों की स्वैच्छिक प्रकृति के संबंध में उन्होंने कहा कि जहाँ जनहित में आवश्यक समझा जाता है, वहाँ भारत सरकार द्वारा गुणवत्ता नियंत्रण आदेश जारी करके निर्दिष्ट भारतीय मानकों का अनुपालन अनिवार्य किया जाता है。 उद्योग जगत एवं उपभोक्ताओं के बीच गुणवत्ता के प्रति जागरूकता बढ़ाने के लिए बीआईएस के प्रयासों की सराहना करते हुए उन्होंने गुणवत्ता-आधारित एवं सतत भविष्य के निर्माण हेतु मानकों को व्यापक स्तर पर अपनाने का आह्वान किया。 चंडीगढ़ के माननीय महापौर श्री सौरभ जोशी जी ने शहरों को अधिक सुरक्षित, दक्ष एवं सतत बनाने में मानकों की भूमिका को रेखांकित किया। उन्होंने नवीकरणीय ऊर्जा तथा ऊर्जा-दक्ष सार्वजनिक सेवाओं के क्षेत्र में चंडीगढ़ द्वारा की जा रही पहलों का उल्लेख करते हुए कहा कि सड़क प्रकाश व्यवस्था, जलापूर्ति, जल निकासी तथा सार्वजनिक निर्माण जैसे दैनिक शहरी आधारभूत ढाँचे में भी मानकों का विशेष महत्व है। उन्होंने इस बात पर बल दिया कि सार्वजनिक आधारभूत संरचनाओं की योजना बनाने एवं खरीद प्रक्रिया से लेकर निर्माण और रख-रखाव तक, प्रत्येक चरण में गुणवत्ता को प्राथमिकता दी जानी चाहिए, ताकि ये सार्वजनिक आधारभूत संरचनाएँ सुरक्षित एवं टिकाऊ बनी रहें और नागरिकों को उनका समुचित लाभ प्राप्त हो।0
