ਫਿਰੋਜ਼ਪੁਰ ਸ਼ਹਰੀ ਵਿਧਾਇਕ ਰਣਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਭੁੱਲਰ ਨੇ ਅੱਜ ਫਿਰੋਜ਼ਪੁਰ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿਚ ਸੁਪਰ ਸੱਕਰ ਮਸ਼ੀਨ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਨਾਲ ਸੀਵਰੇਜ ਦੀ ਸਫ਼ਾਈ ਦੇ ਕੰਮ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਕੀਤੀ। ਵਿਧਾਇਕ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਆਧੁਨਿਕ ਮਸ਼ੀਨ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੀਵਰੇਜ ਦੀ ਸਫ਼ਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਬਿਹਤਰ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਅਹਿਮ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਨਾਗਰਿਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਦਿੱਕਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਪੇਸ਼ ਆਵੇਗੀ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਦਰਸਾਇਆ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਮਸ਼ੀਨ ਦੇ ਜਰੀਏ ਫਿਰੋਜ਼ਪੁਰ ਦੇ ਦਾਣਾ ਮੰਡੀ ਖੇਤਰ ਤੋਂ ਸੀਵਰੇਜ ਲਾਈਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਫ਼ਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।

जंडू सिंघा रोड पर गड्ढे में गिरकर बाइक सवार की मौत, लापरवाही पर सवाल

Noida, Uttar Pradesh:जालंधर में बाइक समेत गड्ढे में गिरने से मौत: जंडूसिंघा रोड पर हादसा, कई घंटे तड़पता रहा, सरिया लगने से आंख निकली. पंजाब के जालंधर से जंडू सिंघा की ओर जाने वाले रोड पर गड्ढे में गिरने से बाइक सवार की मौत हो गई. ये गड्ढा पुल बनाने वाली कंपनी ने पिल्लर के खोद रखा था. करीब 20 फीट गहरे गड्ढे में रात साढ़े 11 बजे के करीब बाइक गिरी. पास सो रही लेबर ने आवाज सुनी लेकिन हेल्प के लिए नहीं उठे. बाइक सवार कई घंटे तक तड़पता रहा और गड्ढे के अंदर ही दम तोड़ दिया. डेडबॉडी और बाइक सुबह दुकानदारों ने देखी तो पुलिस को सूचित किया. गड्ढे के पास ही दुकान करने वाले एक व्यक्ति ने बताया कि उसने दुकान खोलने के बाद अचानक गड्ढे की तरफ नजर मारी तो अंदर बाइक गिरी दिखी. उसने पूछा कि बाइक अंदर कैसे गई तो लेबर ने बताया कि रात को बाइक सवार गिर गया था. हमें अवाजा आई लेकिन हमने सोचा कि निकल गया होगा. जब गड्ढे के अंदर फिर से झांककर देखा तो वहां डेडबॉडी पड़ी थी. बाइक सवार की सरिया लगने से आंख निकल चुकी थी. उसके पास हेडफोन थे लेकिन मोबाइल और पर्स दोनों गायब मिले. मौके पर पहुंची जालंधर पुलिस का कहना है कि जांच की जा रही है. शव को गड्ढे से निकालकर सिविल अस्पताल पहुंचा दिया गया है. अभी तक युवक की पहचान नहीं हुई है. पहचान के लिए आस पास के थानों में सूचना दे दी गई है. स्थानीय दुकानदार बोला- इंसानियत हुई शर्मसार. घटना स्थल पर मौजूद एक स्थानीय दुकानदार ने बताया कि जब उसने सुबह करीब 5 बजे दुकान खोली, तो गड्ढे में एक बाइक गिरी हुई दिखाई दी. उसने वहां काम कर रहे मजदूरों और मिस्त्रियों से पूछताछ की, तो उन्होंने लापरवाही भरा जवाब देते हुए कहा कि रात एक बंदा गिरा था और तड़प रहा था, हमें लगा वह खुद निकल गया होगा. सुबह जब गहराई से जांच की गई, तो पता चला कि युवक की मौके पर ही मौत हो चुकी थी. पुलिस ने लूटपाट की भी आशंका जताई. मृतक युवक के पास से उसके कान के हेडफोन और बाइक की चाबियां तो बरामद हुई हैं, लेकिन उसका मोबाइल फोन और पर्स गायब है. मौके पर पहुंची पुलिस, राहगीरों और प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों ने लूटपाट की भी आशंका जताई है. लोगों ने कहा कि यदि समय रहते एम्बुलेंस को फोन कर दिया जाता, तो शायद उस युवक की जान बचाई जा सकती थी. निर्माणाधीन पुल के पास अंधेरा, मिट्टी से बेरिकेडिंग. हादसे वाली जगह पर एक पुल का निर्माण कार्य चल रहा था. यहाँ पर रात को लाइट का इंतजाम नहीं है. गड्ढे का यहां पर पता नहीं चलता. सुरक्षा के नाम पर मिट्टी के ढेर लगाकार बेरिकेडिंग की खानापूर्ति की गई है. स्थानीय लोगों ने बताया कि लाइट को दूर की बात यहां आगे गड्ढा है, इसकी जानकारी देने के लिए कोई साइन बोर्ड नहीं लगाया गया है. अंधेरा में गड्ढे का अंदाजा न होने के कारण तेज रफ्तार बाइक सवार सीधे गड्ढे में जा गिरा. सूचना मिलने पर पुलिस मौके पर पहुँची है और मामले की तफ्तीश शुरू कर दी गई है. पुलिस अब इस बात की जांच कर रही है कि युवक का मोबाइल और पर्स किसने गायब किया और क्या यह केवल एक हादसा है या इसके पीछे कोई और बड़ी लापरवाही है.

Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh:ट्रैफिक जाम, आइडल पार्किंग, ओवरलोडिंग से निपटने का रोड़मैप तैयार आरटीए के मनोनीत सदस्य ने आरटीओ धर्मशाला से की बैठक जिला कांगड़ा में ट्रैफिक जाम, आइडल पार्किंग व ओवरलोडिंग की समस्या से निपटने के लिए रोड़मैप तैयार किया गया है। जिससे निपटने के लिए जल्द प्रभावी कदम उठाए जाएंगे। यह निर्णय सोमवार को आरटए के नव मनोनीत सदस्यों की आरटीओ धर्मशाला विकास जंवाल से आयोजित बैठक में लिए गए। परिवहन संबंधी विभिन्न मुद्दों पर इस दौरान विस्तृत चर्चा की गई। धर्मशाला से नवमनोनीत आरटीए सदस्य सुरेश कुमार ने कहा कि बैठक में ट्रैफिक,रूटस और स्कूल बसों पर चर्चा की गई है। उन्होंने कहा कि ओवरलोडिंग की समस्या सामने आई थी, जिसे पुलिस प्रशासन के समक्ष उठाया था, उसके उपरांत पुलिस ने निजी स्कूल वाहनों की चेकिंग शुरू की थी। ओवरलोडिंग से निपटने के लिए परिवहन विभाग के साथ पुलिस प्रशासन से बात की जाएगी। बसों के लिए स्थान होंगे चिन्हित सुरेश कुमार ने कहा कि चामुंडा से धर्मशाला तक पहुंचने के लिए पहले 15 से 20 मिनट लगते थे, लेकिन ट्रैफिक और अव्यवस्थित पार्किंग के चलते समय अधिक लग रहा है। पुलिस प्रशासन से मिलकर बसों के खड़े होने की जगह चिन्हित की जाएगी, जिससे कि जाम की स्थिति न बने。 सडक़ किनारे नियमित पार्क वाहन हटवाएंगे सुरेश कुमार मुख्य मार्गों किनारे नियमित तौर पर खड़ी रहने वाली गाडिय़ों को हटवाया जाएगा। वहीं दुकानों में खरीददारी करने आने वाले लोगों के वाहनों की पार्किंग के लिए उचित व्यवस्था की जाएगी। ई-रिक्शा के इसी माह होंगे प्रयास उन्होंने बताया कि मार्च माह में परमिट जारी करके ई-रिक्शा को भी चलाने का प्रयास किया जाएगा। परमिट समस्या भी कई बार देखने को मिलती है, उसके समाधान के भी प्रयास किए जाएंगे।

Noida, Uttar Pradesh:Delhi: On Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney's visit to India, P Kumaran, Secretary (East), says, "This was his first visit to India since assuming office and the first bilateral visit by a Canadian Prime Minister in eight years. The visit marks an important inflection point in the India-Canada relationship. Prime Minister Mark Carney's visit commenced with a two-day program in Mumbai. The Mumbai leg was primarily business-oriented and aimed at catalysing investment flows, deepening financial linkages and expanding innovation partnerships between the two countries. Prime Minister Carney held extensive interactions with Indian business leaders, CEOs, innovators, educators, and representatives of leading Canadian pension funds. These discussions were essentially focused on bilateral investment flows, strengthening collaboration and clean energy, critical minerals, infrastructure, and advanced manufacturing. It also related to partnerships in education, skills and research, and expanding capital market linkages and long-term institutional investments." The visit delivered concrete outcomes across five pillars. Number one was the agreement on a durable economic anchor through the launch of CEPA. The signing of the terms of reference for a CEPA provides a clear roadmap to conclude an ambitious, balanced and mutually beneficial agreement by the end of 2026. To sustain the momentum, the India-Canada CEO Forum has been reconstituted and met today in New Delhi a short while ago. A new finance minister's economic and financial dialogue has been launched. Both sides agreed on reciprocal ministerial-led trade and investment engagements to unlock commercial opportunities. Beyond government-to-government outcomes, the visit witnessed substantial commercial announcements and investment commitments across a wide range of sectors, including pharmaceuticals and life sciences, agri-food processing, clean technology and water infrastructure, financial services and fintech, advanced manufacturing, hospitality and digital innovation. These announcements reflect growing confidence among businesses in both markets and underscore the depth of two-way investment flows. The reciprocal investment pattern signals that the partnership is increasingly anchored in real economic integration rather than episodic transactions. Notably, span next-generation sectors such as regenerative medicine, AI-enabled banking platforms, cybersecurity, clean energy technologies, and advanced industrial solutions. On being asked about the diplomatic staff strengths in missions and consulates between India and Canada, P Kumaran, Secretary (East), says, "This has been discussed during various dialogues at various levels, and there is broad agreement that we should be increasing diplomatic strength on both sides progressively to reach their levels in the past. We are already in the process of doing that. You would have seen that the High Commissioners have returned to their positions. We have a High Commissioner in our mission in Canada, and similarly, the Canadian mission is headed now by a High Commissioner. The numbers are currently at levels better than what we had in 2023. We continue to take steps to take this to the next level in keeping with the expanded agenda and ambition. We are taking this on a step-by-step basis." Based on the guidance provided by the leaders, we had a meeting between the national security advisors of the two countries in Delhi on 18 September 2025 and for a second time again on 7th February, 2026 in Ottawa. At the meeting held on 6th February, both sides agreed to a shared work plan to guide bilateral cooperation on national security and law enforcement issues and to enable practical collaboration on the respective priorities. It was also agreed that each country would establish security and law enforcement liaison officers to build on working relationships, streamline bilateral communications, and enable timely information sharing on issues of mutual interest to Canada and India, including issues such as illegal flow of drugs, fentanyl precursors and transnational organised criminal networks" On Israel-Iran crisis, P Kumaran, Secretary (East), says, "As you would expect, this is a hot issue right now, and therefore it was discussed (between PM Modi and Canadian PM). Prime Minister Modi took the opportunity to convey that India is deeply concerned about the recent developments in Iran and the Gulf region in general. He said we have urged all sides to exercise restraint, avoid escalation and prioritise the safety of civilians. He also said dialogue and diplomacy should be pursued to de-escalate tensions and address the underlying issues. The sovereignty and territorial integrity of all states must be mentioned. Our missions in the region are in touch with Indian nationals and various community associations and have issued advisories asking them to remain vigilant, stay in contact with the missions and follow local security guidance...

अनंदपुर साहिब में सुखबीर बादल की अपील, अरब देशों में फंसे पंजाबी की मदद

Anandpur Sahib, Punjab:खालसे की जन्‍मभूमि श्री आनंदपुर साहिब वि‍खे सियासी हस्तियां का पहुँचना जारी है। इस दौरान शिरोमणि अकाली दल के प्रधान सुखबीर सिंह Badal ने तख़्त श्री केसगढ़ साहिब के सामने नतमस्तक होकर अरदास की कि देश और खासकर पंजाब में अमन-शांति, भाईचारे की साझ और तरक्की बनी रहे। पतरकारों से बात करते हुए सुखबीर सिंह बादल ने कहा कि जंग जैसे हालात कारण अरब मुल्कों में कई पंजाबी फँसे हुए हैं। उनके लिए एक हेल्पलाइन नंबर जारी किया गया है। उन्होंने कहा कि हेल्पलाइन पर लगातार फोन आ रहे हैं और कई लोगो को अगला कदम क्या हो, समझ नहीं आ रहा। हम भारत सरकार और संबंधित एम्बेसी के साथ संपर्क कर रहे हैं ताकि वहाँ फँसे पंजाबी की हर संभव मदद की जा सके। इसके साथ ही उन्होंने अरब देशों में स्थित पंजाबी को भी आग्रह किया कि वे एक-दूसरे की मदद के लिए आगे आयें और भाईचारे की मिसाल कायम करें.

BSF ने पाकिस्तानी तस्कर 10 किलो हेरोइन पकड़ी, पंजाब में नशा का खतरा रोकना

Tarn Taran Sahib, Punjab:बीएसएफ की 142 बटालियन ने पाकिस्तान की तरफ से पंजाब के युवाओं को नशे की दलदल में धकेलना के मनसूबे नाकाम किए हैं। इस बटालियन के जवानों ने पाकिस्तान की तरफ से भारतीय क्षेत्र में हेरोइन के पैकेट फैंक रहे एक पाकिस्तानी तस्कर को काबू किया है जिससे 10 पैकेट हेरोइन बरामद हुई है जिसका वजन लगभग 10 किलो है। पाकिस्तानी तस्कर की पहचान अब्बू बक्कर निवासी छठियां वाला, कसूर पाकिस्तान के रूप में हुई है। प्राथमिक पूछताछ में सामने आया है कि अब्बू बक्कर ने 20 किलो हेरोइन पंजाब भेजनी थी जिसमें से वह एक दिन पहले फिरोजपुर के एक तस्कर पहलवान को 10 किलो सप्लाई कर चुका है और बाकी 10 किलो तरन तारन में खेमकरण सेक्टर में भेजनी थी और वही दस पैकेट वह फैंक रहा था। फिलहाल उक्त पाकिस्तानी तस्कर को नारकोटिक कंट्रोल ब्यूरो के अधिकारियों द्वारा कब्जे में लेकर उसे पूछताछ की जा रही है।
