Prime Minister conducted an aerial survey of flood affected areas in Punjab. Thereafter, he had an official review meeting in Gurdaspur with officials and elected representatives. PM Modi reviewed the relief and rehabilitation measures undertaken as well as assessed the damage that has occurred in Punjab. The Prime Minister announced a financial assistance of Rs. 1600 crore for Punjab in addition to the Rs 12,000 crore already in the state’s kitty. There will be advance release of the second instalment of SDRF and PM Kisan Samman Nidhi. The Prime Minister emphasized the need for a multi-dimensional approach to help the entire region and its people recover. This would include measures such as rebuilding homes under the PM Awas Yojana, restoring national highways, reconstructing schools, providing relief through the PMNRF, and distributing mini kits for livestock. Recognizing the critical need to support the agricultural community, additional assistance will be provided specifically targeted at farmers who currently lack power connections. For bores which have been silted over or swept away, support for refurbishing would be extended under Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana on project mode, as per specific proposal from the State Government. रेडिडसन ब्लू होटल के लॉक से फंसे IPS अधिकारी को मुआवज़ा: 15 हजार रुपये
Noida, Uttar Pradesh:चंडीगढ़ के ज़िला उपभोक्ता विवाद निवारण आयोग ने रेडिसन ब्लू होटल के बाथरूम का लॉक ख़राब होने के कारण डेढ घंटे तक बाथरूम में फंसे रहे पीड़ित रिटायर्ड IPS अधिकारी को मुआवज़े के रूप में 15 हज़ार रुपये होटल प्रबंधन को देने का आदेश दिया है चंडीगढ़ District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission ने पाया की गोरखपुर के रेडिसन ब्लू होटल की लापरवाही और Poor सर्विस के कारण मेहमान एक घंटे से ज़्यादा समय तक बाथरूम में बंद रहे 19-B, चंडीगढ़ के निवासी और रिटायर्ड IPS अधिकारी आलोक कुमार रॉय ने अपनी शिकायत बताया कि वे फरवरी 2026 में एक कार्यक्रम में शामिल होने के लिए गोरखपुर गए थे।उन्होंने ₹15,340 का भुगतान करके 8 फरवरी, 2026 को एक रात के लिए गोरखपुर के रेडिसन ब्लू होटल में कमरा बुक किया था। उन्होंने वहाँ रहने के दौरान, बाथरूम इस्तेमाल करते समय लॉक खराब हो गया और वे अंदर फंस गए। हालांकि बाथरूम में फोन लगा हुआ था, लेकिन उसके पास न तो कोई डायरेक्टरी थी और न ही होटल के नंबरों की कोई लिस्ट, जिसकी वजह से उन्हें बेकार में अलग-अलग नंबर डायल करने पड़े। रॉय ने यह भी दावा किया कि उन्होंने कंपनी को ईमेल किया था और कंपनी ने अपनी गलती और लापरवाही मान ली थी। दूसरी ओर, होटल और कंपनी को नोटिस भेजे जाने के बावजूद, वे कमीशन के सामने पेश नहीं हुए और 18 मई को उनके खिलाफ़ एकतरफ़ा (ex parte) कार्रवाई की गई।0

NIA ने अमृतसर में 500 किलो हेरोइन नार्को-टेरर केस से जुड़ी संपत्तियाँ अटैच कीं
Noida, Uttar Pradesh:NIA attaches Amritsar property in 500-kg heroin narco-terror case The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Thu rsday attached two immovable properties in Amritsar belonging to accused Anwar Masih in connection with the 500-kg heroin smuggling case, which involved a transnational narco-terror conspiracy. The properties, bearing Plot Nos. 128 and 129 in Phase-I of Akash Vihar, Sultanwind, Amritsar, are registered in Masih’s name. The attachment was carried out under Section 25(1) of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967. The case, registered as RC-26/2020/NIA/DLI and popularly known as the Salaya drug seizure case, relates to the smuggling of 500 kg of heroin from Pakistan to India through a sea route. According to the NIA, its investigation has revealed Masih’s involvement in a transnational network extending across Italy, Australia, the UAE, Thailand, Iran and Pakistan. The network was engaged in the smuggling and distribution of narcotics and channelising the proceeds to finance terrorist activities linked to the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT). The agency said the investigation had established the linkage of the attached properties with proceeds connected to terrorism, resulting in their attachment under the anti-terror law. The attachment proceedings were conducted on August 13 in the presence of witnesses and with the assistance of revenue authorities. The attachment order was served and read out before being affixed at the properties, and an Attachment Memorandum/Panchanama was prepared. The investigation in the case is continuing. So far, 26 accused persons have been arrested in the case.0

ED ने PSIEC घोटाले की रेड में 4 करोड़ फ्रीज़, 12.15 लाख नकद जब्त
Noida, Uttar Pradesh:PSIEC प्लाट घोटाले मे तीन दिन चली ED की रेड ,चार करोड़ बैंक मे फ़र्ज़ी और 12.15 लाख ज़ब्त एनफोर्समेंट डायरेक्टरेट (ED) के जालंधर ज़ोनल ऑफिस ने मनी लॉन्ड्रिंग रोकथाम अधिनियम (PMLA), 2002 के तहत 4 अगस्त से 6 अगस्त कर तीन दिन पंजाब स्मॉल इंडस्ट्रीज़ एंड एक्सपोर्ट कॉर्पोरेशन (PSIEC) चंडीगढ़, अमृतसर, गुरदासपुर और लुधियाना में 11 जगहों पर तलाशी अभियान चलाया। पंजाब स्मॉल इंडस्ट्रीज़ एंड एक्सपोर्ट कॉर्पोरेशन (PSIEC) के ऑफिस में सर्वे भी किया गया। यह कार्रवाई PSIEC अधिकारियों द्वारा अपने रिश्तेदारों, दोस्तों और अन्य सहयोगियों के नाम पर इंडस्ट्रियल प्लॉट के गैर-कानूनी आवंटन से जुड़ी मनी लॉन्ड्रिंग जांच के सिलसिले में की गई। तलाशी के दौरान कई जगहों से कई आपत्तिजनक दस्तावेज़ और डिजिटल डिवाइस बरामद और ज़ब्त किए गए। इस रेड के दौरान आपत्तिजनक सबूत इकट्ठा किए गए और बिना हिसाब-किताब वाला कैश बरामद किया गया... तलाशी के दौरान, PSIEC के रिटायर्ड चीफ जनरल मैनेजर सुरिंदर पाल सिंह और रिटायर्ड जनरल मैनेजर जसविंदर सिंह रंधावा के बैंक खातों में मौजूद लगभग 4.01 करोड़ रुपये फ्रीज़ करने के साथ-साथ 12,15,000 रुपये कैश बरामद और ज़ब्त किए गए। ED ने पंजाब विजिलेंस ब्यूरो पुलिस स्टेशन द्वारा दर्ज FIR के आधार पर जांच शुरू की थी। यह FIR भ्रष्टाचार रोकथाम अधिनियम, 1988 (PC अधिनियम, 2018 द्वारा संशोधित) और भारतीय दंड संहिता (IPC), 1860 की विभिन्न धाराओं के तहत कई PSIEC अधिकारियों और अन्य निजी व्यक्तियों के खिलाफ दर्ज की गई थी। ED की जांच से पता चला कि इंडस्ट्रियल प्लॉट ऐसे लोगों को आवंटित किए गए थे जिन्हें तकनीकी उद्योगों के बारे में कोई जानकारी नहीं थी। निजी व्यक्तियों ने इंडस्ट्रियल प्लॉट के लिए आवेदन करते समय फ़र्ज़ी फ़र्मों और फ़र्ज़ी पतों का इस्तेमाल किया और PSIEC अधिकारियों के साथ करीबी संबंधों के कारण ये प्लॉट इन लोगों को आवंटित कर दिए गए। कई आवंटन प्लाटों को शेल कंपनियों और फ़र्ज़ी फ़र्मों के नाम पर किए गए थे, जिनका बाद में इस्तेमाल आवंटित प्लॉट को मौजूदा बाज़ार दरों पर बाहरी लोगों (थर्ड-पार्टी) को बेचने के लिए किया गया, जिससे भारी कमाई हुई। इसके अलावा, यह भी पता चला कि उद्योग स्थापित करने के लिए आवंटित प्लॉट को बांटकर रिहायशी और कमर्शियल प्लॉटिंग के लिए इस्तेमाल किया गया।0

Noida, Uttar Pradesh:पंचकूला के इंडस्ट्रियल एरिया फेज 2 में हुआ बड़ा हादसा एक क्रेन की मदद से जनरेटर को छत पर चढ़ने का काम चल रहा था तभी क्रेन अनबैलेंस हो गई और क्रेन के टॉप पर जनरेटर चढ़ाने का प्रयास कर रहे दो हेल्पर सड़क पर जग गिरे और सर पर चोट लगने से दोनों की मौके पर ही मौत हो गई इस पूरी घटना का एक सीसीटीवी वीडियो भी सामने आया घटना की सूचना मिलने के बाद सेक्टर 19 चौकी पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची और पूरे मामले की जांच पड़ताल में जुड़ गई है बताया जा रहा है कि एक बिल्डिंग की छत पर जनरेटर को क्रेन की मदद से चढ़ाने का प्रयास किया जा रहा था तभी भारी जनरेटर के चलते क्रेन अनबैलेंस हो गई और पलट गई इस हादसे में नवीन और मनीष नाम के दो हेल्पर जिनकी उम्र 22 से 23 साल बताई जा रही है कि मौके पर ही मौत हो गई मृतक हिमाचल और बिहार के रहने वाले हैं और दोनों मृतक युवक क्रेन में काम करते थे और भारी समान क्रेन की मदद से ऊपर चढ़ते थे सेक्टर 19 चौकी इंचार्ज कमलजीत सिंह ने बताया कि इस पूरे हाथ से की जांच पड़ताल की जा रही है जबकि इस हादसे में क्रेन चालक को हल्की चोटें आई है0
