It is unfortunate that the Prime Minister of India made such a statement. The reality is that from 2014 to 2024, despite surgical strikes and the action taken now, the DNA of the deep state of Pakistan has not changed. Pakistan has been encouraging terrorism against India since 1980. No matter which government was in power, be it Congress, United Front, or BJP, every government in India made every attempt to fight terrorism. Politicising Pakistan-sponsored terrorism is not in the interest of India's national security." It is indeed unfortunate that PMOIndia uses the scourge of Pakistan sponsored terrorism for partisan purposes to try and score political brownie points. If indeed all the coercive kinetic actions qua Pakistan between 29 th September 2016 & May 7-10 2025 would have had a salutary effect on the deep state in Pakistan what then accounts for all these terror attacks incubated by Pakistan between 2014-2024 detailed & the love fest between US and Pakistan Post 10 th May 2025 ? Every government since 1980 has tried to deal with Pakistan sponsored Terrorism in the best manner possible. This he said she said does great disservice to National Security. Those lives lost to Terror are not mere political statistics that are to be weaponised and hurled at each other. Ask the next of kin of those who lost family members to the depredations of Pakistan sponsored Terror ? After the 26/11 Terror attack in November 2008 the next mega attack on that scale that lasted nine hours was on the Indian Consulate in Herat on May 23rd 2014 on the eve of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's swearing in. It was followed by : July 27, 2015: Attack in Dina Nagar, Gurdaspur, Punjab; 10 killed, 15 injured; perpetrated by suspected Pakistan-based militants. January 2–5, 2016: Siege at Pathankot Air Force Station, Punjab; 7 security personnel killed, 6 attackers killed (significant military impact); perpetrated by Jaish-e-Mohammed. June 25, 2016: Attack in Pampore, Jammu and Kashmir; 8 killed, 22 injured. September 18, 2016: Attack on army camp in Uri, Jammu and Kashmir; 19 soldiers killed, 4 attackers killed (led to Indian surgical strikes); perpetrated by Jaish-e-Mohammed. November 29, 2016: Attack on army base in Nagrota, Jammu and Kashmir; 7 soldiers killed, 3 attackers killed; perpetrated by Jaish-e-Mohammed. July 10, 2017: Attack on Amarnath Yatra pilgrims in Anantnag, Jammu and Kashmir; 8 killed, 18 injured (significant religious impact); perpetrated by Lashkar-e-Taiba. February 10, 2018: Attack on army camp in Sunjuwan, Jammu and Kashmir; 11 killed, 11 injured; perpetrated by Jaish-e-Mohammed. Noida, Uttar Pradesh:Punjab Police file multiple FIRs over objectionable social media posts targeting CJI Gavai Chandigarh (Punjab) [India], October 9 (ANI): In a firm crackdown on objectionable and unlawful social media content, the Punjab Police have registered multiple FIRs across several districts after receiving numerous complaints regarding posts and videos targeting Chief Justice of India (CJI) Bhushan Ramkrishna Gavai. The action comes following the detection of over a hundred social media handles involved in sharing or promoting hateful and inflammatory material. A Punjab Police spokesperson said that the content in question related to attacks on a high constitutional authority, caste-based vilification, and incitement, amounting to public mischief and deliberate attempts to disturb peace and public order by exploiting caste and communal sentiments. The posts reportedly carried casteist and hate-filled expressions intended to promote disharmony, disturb public order, and erode respect for judicial institutions. The spokesperson further said that the nature of the social media posts reflected a clear intent to provoke violence and undermine the constitutional position of the Chief Justice of India. The content also included intentional intimidation and insult to a member of a Scheduled Caste, attempts to promote enmity, hatred and ill-will against members of the Scheduled Castes, and promotion of enmity between groups on the grounds of caste. It also amounted to intentional insult with the intent to provoke a breach of peace and statements conducing to public mischief. FIRs have been registered under sections 3(1)(r), 3(1)(s), and 3(1)(u) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, along with Sections 196, 352, 353(1), 353(2), and 61 of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), on receipt of information disclosing the commission of cognizable offences. The Punjab Police spokesperson said that the department is closely monitoring online platforms to identify individuals and groups responsible for circulating hate content and targeting constitutional authorities. He emphasised that freedom of speech cannot be misused to spread hatred, provoke violence, or undermine respect for institutions. Further investigations into the FIRs are underway in accordance with the law. (ANI)

Noida, Uttar Pradesh:Himachal Pradesh: IPS officer Shyam Bhagat Negi appointed Additional Chief Secretary, Social Justice and Empowerment Shimla (Himachal Pradesh) [India], October 9 (ANI): The Himachal Pradesh government has appointed senior Indian Police Service (IPS) officer Shyam Bhagat Negi as the Additional Chief Secretary (Social Justice & Empowerment) to the Government of Himachal Pradesh. Negi, a 1990-batch IPS officer, has been appointed with immediate effect, according to an official notification issued by the Department of Personnel on Wednesday. The notification, issued on the recommendations of the Civil Services Board, states that Negi''s services have been placed at the disposal of the Department of Personnel for the new assignment in the public interest. "On the recommendations of the Civil Services Board, the Governor, Himachal Pradesh, is pleased to order the posting of Shri Shyam Bhagat Negi. IPS (HP:1990), whose services have been placed at the disposal of Department of Personnel, as Additional Chief Secretary (Social justice & Empowerment) to the Government of Himachal Pradesh, Shimla, with immediate effect, in the public interest," the notification read. The same notification also cancels the earlier posting order of Abhishek Trivedi, IPS of the 1996 batch, who had been appointed as Secretary (Social Justice & Empowerment) through an order dated September 30, 2025. The cancellation has been made with immediate effect. "The Governor, Himachal Pradesh, is further pleased to cancel the posting order of Shri Abhishek Trivedi, IPS (HP:1996), as Secretary (Social Justice & Empowerment) to the Government of Himachal Pradesh, Shimla, issued vide this department''s notification of even number dated September 30, 2025, with immediate effect, in the public interest," the notification further stated. The order, signed by Chief Secretary Sanjay Gupta, directs all concerned departments and officers to ensure compliance. Copies of the notification have been sent to the Establishment Officer, Government of India, Ministry of Personnel, and other senior officials in the state administration for information and necessary action. With this reshuffle, the state government has effected a key change in the Social Justice & Empowerment Department, which oversees major welfare and empowerment programmes in Himachal Pradesh. (ANI)

Bathinda, Punjab:ਭਠਿੰਡਾ ਦੇ ਮਾਈਸਰਖਾਨਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਣੇ ਮਾਤਾ ਦੇ ਇਤਿਹਾਸਿਕ ਮੰਦਰ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਵਿਵਾਦ ਸੜਕਾਂ ਤੇ ਉਤਰੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਅਤੇ ਹਿੰਦੂ ਸੰਗਠਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਲੋਕ ਵਿਧਾਇਕ ਦੇ ਭਰਾ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਉੱਠੀ ਮੰਗ ਮਾਈਸਰ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਣਿਆ ਹੈ ਮਾਤਾ ਜਵਾਲਾ ਜੀ ਦਾ ਮੰਦਰ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਬਜਾ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਲੱਗੇ ਹਨ ਅਰੋਪ ਬਠਿੰਡਾਯੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਮਾਈਸਰਖਾਨਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੰਦਰ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਬਰਦਸਤੀ ਬੰਧਕ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਅਤੇ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਜ਼ਬਰਦਸਤੀ ਬਾਹਰ ਕੱਢਣ ਅਤੇ ਮੰਦਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੇਅਦਬੀ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਬਠਿੰਡਾ ਦੇ ਐਸਪੀ ਅਤੇ ਏਡੀਸੀ ਨੂੰ ਮੰਦਰ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਨੇ ਮੰਗ پੱਤਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ ਪਰੰਤੂ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਨਾ ਹੋਣ ਕਰਕੇ ਅੱਜ ਬਠਿੰਡਾ ਦੇ ਬੱਸ ਸਟੈਂਡ ਦੇ ਨਜ਼ਦੀਕ ਸੜਕ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਮ ਕਰ ਰੋਸ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਰਨਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹਿੰਦੂ ਸੰਗਠਨ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਸੁਖਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਮਾਈਸਰਖਾਨਾ ਵਿਧਾਇਕ ਦੇ ਚਚੇਰੇ ਭਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਦੀ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਬਜ਼ਾ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜੋੜੇ ਪਾ ਕੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਏ ਸਨ। ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਭਾਵਨਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਸੱਟ ਪਹੁੰਚੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤ ਦੇਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਵੀ ਅੱਜ ਤੱਕ ਨਾ ਤਾਂ ਐਮਐਲਏ ਦੇ ਭਰਾ ਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਮੰਦਰ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਇਤ ਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਇਸੇ ਚੀਜ਼ ਦੇ ਗੁੱਸੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਏ ਹਿੰਦੂ ਸੰਗਠਨ ਅਤੇ ਮੰਦਿਰ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਬਠਿੰਡਾ ਦੀ ਬੱਸ ਸਟੈਂਡ ਦੇ ਨਜ਼ਦੀਕ ਸੜਕ ਤੇ ਬੈਠ ਕੇ ਰੋਡ ਜਾਮ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਜਲਦੀ ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਤੇ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇ

Noida, Uttar Pradesh:ਕੈਬਿਨੇਟ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਹਰਭਜਨ ਸਿੰਘ ਈਟੀਓ ਨੇ ਅੱਜ ਹਲਕਾ ਜੰਡਿਆਲਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਵਿਖੇ ਵੱਖ ਵੱਖ ਪਿੰਡਾਂ ਵਡਾਲੀ ਡੋਗਰਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਮਾਨਾਂਵਾਲਾ ਕਲਾ,ਮihuoka ਤੋਂ ਗਾਰਡਨ ਕਲੋਨੀ,ਰੱਖ ਦੇਵੀਦਾਸਪੁਰਾ ਤੋਂ ਅਮਰਕੋਟ, ਮਾਨਾਂਵਾਲਾ ਕਲਾ ਤੋ ਨੰਗਲ ਦਿਆਲ ਸਿੰਘ, ਸੁੱਖੇਵਾਲ ਤੋਂ ਮਾਹੀਵਾਲ ਖੂਹ, ਸੁਖੇਵਾਲ ਤੋਂ ਰਾਜੇਵਾਲ ਰੋਡ, ਤਰਨ ਤਾਰਨ ਰੋਡ ਤੋਂ ਗੁਰਦੁਆਰਾ ਝੰਗੀ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਸੜਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਉਦਘਾਟਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਏ। ਇਹ ਸੜਕਾਂ 1 ਕਰੋੜ 94 ਲੱਖ 76 ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਲਾਗਤ ਨਾਲ 06 ਮਹੀਨੇ ਦੀ ਸਮਾਂ ਸੀਮਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁਕੰਮਲ ਹੋਣਗੀਆਂ। ਈਟੀਓ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਸੜਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਖਾਸ ਮੁਰੰਮਤ ਹੋਣ ਨਾਲ ਇਥੋਂ ਦੇ ਵਸਨੀਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਵਾਜਾਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਫੀ ਰਾਹਤ ਮਿਲੇ

हमीरपुर बाबा बालक नाथ मंदिर ट्रस्ट दान गिनती घोटाला, CCTV बंदी, जांच जारी

Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh:हमीरपुर हमीरपुर ज़िले के बाबा बालक नाथ मंदिर ट्रस्ट में कैश काउंटिंग के दौरान हेरा-फेरी का मामला उजागर हुआ है। सूत्रों के मुताबिक, मंदिर के दान पात्रों से निकले पैसे की गिनती के दौरान नोटों में हेराफेरी की गई। प्रारम्भिक जांच में कुछ संदिग्ध गतिविधियों के साथ-साथ यह भी सामने आया है कि गिनती के दौरान CCTV कैमरे बंद कर दिए गए थे। फिलहाल दो लोगों से पूछताछ जारी है, लेकिन माना जा रहा है कि मामला इससे कहीं ज्यादा गहरा और संगठित षड्यंत्र हो सकता है。 मामले का संज्ञान लेते हुए मंदिर न्यास के उपायुक्त एवं DC हमीरपुर अमरजीत सिंह ने जांच का जिम्मा SDM बड़र को सौंपा है। उन्होंने बताया कि यह श्रद्धालुओं की भावनाओं से जुड़ा अत्यंत गंभीर मामला है और किसी भी दोषी को बख्शा नहीं जाएगा। इस संदर्भ में जानकारी देते हुए मंदिर नहीं न्यास आयुक्त अमरजीत सिंह ने बताया कि बाबा बालक नाथ मंदिर श्रद्धा का केंद्र है। यहाँ प्रतिवर्ष लाखों श्रद्धालु भेंट चढ़ाते हैं। हम इस मामले की गहराई से जांच करवा रहे हैं, और जो भी दोषी होगा, उसके खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई की जाएगी。 उपायुक्त ने बताया कि इस मामले में पुलिस ने दो लोगों को हिरासत में लिया है, जिन्हें लगातार पूछताछ की जा रही है। ऐसा माना जा रहा है कि इस हेरा-फेरी में कुछ और लोगों या बैंक कर्मचारी भी शामिल हो सकते हैं। अब देखना होगा कि जांच में कौन-कौन से बड़े नाम सामने आते हैं।
