Yesterday’s brazen daylight murder outside a gurdwara in Jalandhar, followed by today’s cold-blooded killing of a 62-year-old woman in Garhshankar (Hoshiarpur), cements the fact that law & order has completely collapsed. Nearly 25 murders in January 2026 alone, with the bloodshed continuing relentlessly into February. Punjab is bleeding: Sacred places, innocent elders, and even ruling party leaders aren’t safe. Punjab Police Ind’s “war on gangsters” has failed spectacularly. Bhagwant Mann must resign before more lives are lost.
