BSF Enforced Zero Tolerance: 4 Smugglers Held; Heroin, Drone & weapons Seized on Punjab Border BSF troops, displaying sharp vigilance and swift action, foiled multiple cross-border smuggling attempts along the Punjab border in the last 24 hours. Acting on specific intelligence, BSF apprehended 02 smugglers in Tarn Taran and recovered Pistol parts, a magazine, 03 live rounds and 02 mobile phones, later handing them over to Punjab Police. In a joint BSF–Punjab Police operation in Gurdaspur,02 more smugglers were caught with 2.550kg heroin and a motorcycle. Additionally, joint searches led to the recovery of a DJI Mavic 4 Prodrone near village Wan, Tarn Taran and a pistol(without slide and barrel) with a magazine from farmland in Ferozepur. These coordinated actions highlight BSF’s unwavering commitment to securing India’s borders and crushing smuggling networks.
