BSF PUNJAB APPREHENDS 5 NARCO-SMUGGLERS, SEIZES HUGE HEROIN CONSIGNMENT In a major boost to the ongoing war against cross-border narcotics trafficking, vigilant #BSF troops have apprehended five narco-smugglers and seized a huge cache of heroin in two intelligence-driven operations along the Punjab border. -In the first operation, conducted early this morning in coordination with CIA Fazilka at village Tahliwala, BSF troops nabbed 03 amugglers and recovered 2 packets of heroin (1kg), a mobile phone and a motorcycle.The accused have been handed over to Punjab Police for further legal action. -In a separate operation near village Balharwal, Amritsar, acting on BSF intelligence input, BSF and ANTF teams apprehended 02 smugglers with 8 packets of heroin (8.643), three mobile phones and a car. Both individuals are in ANTF's custody for further investigation. These coordinated, high-impact operations reaffirm BSF’s unyielding commitment in securing the border and dismantling Pakistan-backed narco-terror networks.
