रायबरेली के बछरावां थाना क्षेत्र के नवपुरवा मजरे सेहंगो पश्चिम गांव में एक युवक का शव संदिग्ध परिस्थितियों में छत पर मिला। मृतक गांव के पास परचून की दुकान चलाता था। युवक के सिर और चेहरे पर गंभीर घाव मिले हैं जिससे धारदार हथियार से हत्या की आशंका जताई जा रही है। पुलिस ने शव को कब्जे में लेकर जांच शुरू कर दी है।

चिरकुंडा के श्रम कल्याण केंद्र में खंडहर तोड़ते समय मजदूर की मौत

Dhanbad, Jharkhand:धनबाद जिले के चिरकुंडा थाना क्षेत्र अंतर्गत श्रम कल्याण केंद्र परिसर में पुराने खंडहर भवन को तोड़ने के दौरान बड़ा हादसा हो गया। इस दुर्घटना में दलदली निवासी मजदूर राशिद अंसारी की मौके पर ही मौत हो गई जबकि एक अन्य मजदूर गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गया। जानकारी के अनुसार श्रम कल्याण केंद्र परिसर में चिरकुंडा नगर परिषद द्वारा जल मीनार का निर्माण प्रस्तावित है। इसी को लेकर उक्त जमीन पर स्थित पुराने और जर्जर भवन को मजदूरों के माध्यम से तोड़ा जा रहा था। इसी दौरान अचानक भवन के ऊपर का भारी मलबा मजदूरों पर गिर पड़ा, जिससे राशिद अंसारी की मौके पर ही मौत हो गई, जबकि दूसरा मजदूर मलबे की चपेट में आकर घायल हो गया। घटना की सूचना मिलते ही चिरकुंडा थाना पुलिस दलबल के साथ मौके पर पहुंची और स्थिति का जायजा लिया। पुलिस ने मृतक के शव को कब्जे में लेकर थाने ले गई तथा आगे की कार्रवाई शुरू कर दी है। वहीं घायल मजदूर को इलाज के लिए अस्पताल भेजा गया है। इस हादसे के बाद इलाके में अफरा-तफरी का माहौल है। पुलिस पूरे मामले की जांच में जुट गई है।

Lohardaga, Jharkhand:लोहरदगा- लोहरदgga एसपी सादिक अनवर रिजवी को मिली गुप्त सूचना के आधार पर दो ब्राउन सुगर के साथ आरोपियों को गिरफ्तार कर जेल भेज दिया गया। एसपी ने बताया कि लातेहार निवासी संदीप कुमार जो ब्राउन सुगर के साथ लोहरदगा पहुंचा, वह मो अरशद अंसारी उर्फ कुंदन के पास से 15 ग्राम ब्राउन सुगर के साथ गिरफ्तार किया गया। जिसकी कीमत लगभग 75 हजार रूपए बताई जा रही है। एसपी ने बताया कि कई जानकारियां हासिल हुईं और कई सफलता मिलने की संभावना जताई। आरोपियों को सदर थाना क्षेत्र के दुप्पटा चौक से गिरफ्तार कर जेल भेज दिया गया है。

Noida, Uttar Pradesh:Tirupparankundram Hilltop Lamp-Lighting Case: Strong Opposition from the Waqf Board and Police to the Single Judge’s Order – Intense Arguments on Rights, Customary Practice and the Archaeology Department’s OpinionJudges Ask If There Is No Urgency and Whether a Compromise Is Possible – Hearing Adjourned The case relating to the appeals filed by the District Collector and the Temple Executive Officer, seeking to set aside the order passed by Single Judge Justice G.R. Swaminathan directing that a lamp be lit on the pillar at the summit of Tirupparankundram Hill, is being continuously heard before the Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court. The case is being heard by a Division Bench comprising Justices G. Jayachandran and K.K. Ramakrishnan. In yesterday’s hearing, arguments were advanced on the appeals filed by the Devasthanam, the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department, Sikandar Dargah, the Jamaat, and private individuals. Today, arguments were heard from the Waqf Board, the Madurai City Police Commissioner, and the petitioner R. Ravikumar. Senior Advocate Mubeen presented detailed arguments on behalf of the Waqf Board. The Waqf Board submitted that a dargah has existed at the summit of Tirupparankundram Hill for several years and that offering prayers near it has been a long-standing practice. It was argued that lighting a lamp on the pillar at the hilltop has never been a continuous customary practice. and that the Single Judge issuing a fresh order permitting lamp-lighting in an already pending matter is legally untenable. It was further contended that during the hearing before the Single Judge, the arguments of the dargah and the Waqf Board were not properly considered. Earlier orders had clearly stated that Nellithoppu and the adjoining pathways and steps belong to the dargah, but these aspects were allegedly ignored by the Single Judge. The Waqf Board also argued that the so-called lamp pillar is located on dargah land, and since the dargah, Kuthirai Chunai, and the pillar are all situated on the same rock, the entire area belongs to the Waqf Board. During the hearing, the judges asked whether one has to pass through the dargah to reach the pillar at the hilltop, or whether there is an alternative route. In response, the Waqf Board stated that there is a separate stairway leading to the dargah. If access to the pillar is permitted through Nellithoppu, it would infringe upon the rights of the Waqf Board and interfere with Islamic worship. On the other hand, the petitioner’s counsel argued that lighting a lamp at the hilltop is an ancient practice and that the case was filed only to restore that tradition. It was submitted that during the peace talks held in 2012, there was no objection to lamp-lighting, and that the practice of lighting the lamp on the pillar had existed for over 100 years. It was further stated that only the temple authorities would go to the hilltop to light the lamp and that no one else would be allowed to go there. The petitioner’s side also alleged that the District Collector and the Police Commissioner failed to respect the Single Judge’s order and had taken decisions contrary to the court’s directions. Countering these arguments, Advocate Vikas Singh, appearing for the police, submitted that Hindus and Muslims have been living in harmony in the Tirupparankundram area for a long time, and that the lamp-lighting issue had caused problems on two occasions in the past. He stated that after the recent order, a tense situation had arisen in the area, and the police were acting with law and order considerations in mind. The police further argued that no fundamental right of anyone had been denied by not granting permission to light the lamp at the hilltop, and that this year as well, the Karthigai Deepam was lit at the customary place. It was warned that granting permission to light a lamp on the pillar near the dargah could affect Muslim worshippers and lead to serious law and order problems. It was also pointed out that as early as 1923, a court had not recognized the structure as a “Deepa Thoon” (lamp pillar), and that granting protection to light a lamp on a new pillar as a new custom was unacceptable. During the hearing, when the petitioner’s counsel strongly objected to a remark made by the police counsel, there was a brief commotion in the courtroom. The judges intervened and directed that arguments be continued in an orderly manner. Meanwhile, the Waqf Board argued that Tirupparankundram Hill is an ancient monument, and therefore, no order can be passed without obtaining the opinion of the Archaeology Department under the Ancient Monuments Act. It was emphasized that since ownership of the hill lies with the Archaeological Department, the opinion of the Archaeological Survey of India is mandatory. The Waqf Board further submitted that Tirupparankundram Hill is historically known as a symbol of communal harmony, and that political or religious disputes should not be allowed to arise. After hearing the submissions, the judges clearly observed that the opinion of the Archaeological Survey of India is necessary in this case and directed that survey details and authenticated documents relating to lands belonging to the dargah be filed. In response, counsel for the Waqf Board and the dargah assured the court that the relevant documents would be submitted the next day. The judges also observed that since the Karthigai Deepam festival is over and the month of Margazhi has begun, there is no urgency to hear the case immediately, and that no interim orders can be passed at this stage. They further asked whether a compromise between the dargah and the temple administration was possible, and whether the court could make an effort to promote harmony. Finally, stating that no fresh orders could be passed at the present stage, the judges adjourned the hearing, directing that the case relating to the Tirupparankundram hilltop lamp-lighting issue would continue the next day (today).

Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh:एकंर -छतरपुर पुलिस ने वाहन चोरों पर कार्रवाई करते हुए कोतवाली पुलिस ने चार लाख की कीमत की 6 मोटरसाइकिल सहित 8 मोबाइल जप्त किये है, एडिशनल एसपी ने प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस करते हुए खुलासा किया कि दो दिन पहले जिला अस्पताल से एक मोटरसाइकिल चोरी की गई थी, जिस पर पुलिस ने तहकीकात शुरू की, तो यह मोटरसाइकिल आदतन चोर गजेन्द्र सिंह को पकड़ा तो उसके पास से यह चोरी की मोटरसाइकिल और मोबाइल जप्त किए है; इस मोटरसाइकिल चोर ने छतरपुर, खजुराहो, जटाशंकर मेले और सागर से चोरी की थी।

Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh:Barabanki Story- विनियमित क्षेत्र में अवैध प्लाटिंग-निर्माण पर बुलडोजर कार्रवाई, डीएम के लिया सख्त एक्शन विनियमित क्षेत्र बाराबंकी में सुनियोजित विकास सुनिश्चित करने एवं अनियमित व अवैध निर्माण गतिविधियों पर प्रभावी नियंत्रण के उद्देश्य से जिलाधिकारी शशांक त्रिपाठी के निर्देश पर प्रशासन द्वारा सख्त कार्रवाई की जा रही है। इसी क्रम में बिना स्वीकृत मानचित्र अथवा ले-आउट के की जा रही अवैध प्लाटिंग एवं निर्माण के विरुद्ध न्यायिक प्रक्रिया अपनाई गई। न्यायालय के आदेश पर ग्राम सफेदाबाद, परगना देवा स्थित गाटा संख्या 142, रकबा 1.171 हेक्टेयर भूमि पर यस बिल्डर्स के प्रोप्राइटर सतपाल सिंह द्वारा किए गए अवैध निर्माण तथा ग्राम बड़ेल (बाहर सीमा), परगना एवं तहसील नवाबगंज स्थित गाटा संख्या 1439, 1441, 1486, 1462 एवं 1569, कुल रकबा 1.392 हेक्टेयर भूमि पर शिवरत बिल्डर्स एंड फैब्रिकेटर्स प्रा.लि. के प्रोप्राइटर रितुराज सिंह द्वारा की गई अवैध प्लाटिंग एवं निर्माण को चिन्हित किया गया। निर्धारित समयावधि में संबंधित प्लाटिंगकर्ता एवं निर्माणकर्ता द्वारा स्वयं अवैध निर्माण न हटाए जाने के कारण राजस्व एवं पुलिस विभाग की संयुक्त टीम द्वारा न्यायालय के आदेशों के अनुपालन में उक्त अवैध प्लाटिंग एवं निर्माण को ध्वस्त कराया गया। जिलाधिकारी शशांक त्रिपाठी ने साफ किया कि विनियमित क्षेत्र में बिना स्वीकृति किए गए किसी भी प्रकार के निर्माण या प्लाटिंग को बर्दाश्त नहीं किया जाएगा तथा भविष्य में भी इस प्रकार की प्रवर्तनात्मक कार्रवाई निरंतर जारी रहेगी।

Amroha, Uttar Pradesh:एंकर अमरोहा में शिमला जैसी ठंड, अलाव के सहारे जनजीवन, साल का सबसे ठंडा दिन अमरोहा में कड़ाके की ठंड ने जनजीवन को बेहाल कर दिया है। ठंडी हवाओं और गिरते तापमान से हालात शिमला जैसी ठंड का एहसास करा रहे हैं और आज का दिन इस साल का सबसे ठंडा दिन माना जा रहा है। सुबह से ही सड़कों पर सन्नाटा पसरा रहा और लोग घरों से निकलने में हिचकिचाते दिखे। मजबूरी में बाहर निकले लोग बाजारों, चौराहों और बस स्टैंडों पर अलाव का सहारा लेते नजर आए। ठंड का सबसे ज्यादा असर बुजुर्गों, बच्चों और बीमार लोगों पर पड़ रहा है। प्रशासन की ओर से सार्वजनिक स्थानों पर अलाव जलवाने की व्यवस्था की गई है। मौसम विभाग ने आने वाले दिनों में ठंड और बढ़ने की संभावना जताई है।
