MP से हथियार सप्लाई करने वाले इंटर-स्टेट सिंडिकेट का सदस्य गिरफ्तार; 11 पिस्टल बरामद

A member of an inter-state illegal firearms syndicate nabbed. 11 good quality semi-automatic pistols recovered from his possession. Firearms sourced from MP-based arms dealer for supplying criminals in Delhi and NCR. In pursuit of constant endeavor by Special Cell to cut the supply line of illegal firearms being brought into Delhi and NCR by Madhya Pradesh-based firearms manufacturers and dealers, a team of Special Cell/SR led by Inspr. Ranjeet Singh and Inspr. Sanjeev Kumar under the supervision of ACP Neeraj Kumar has busted an inter-state illegal firearms syndicate by arresting an active member, namely: Manpal S/o Kalyan, Age 22 years, R/o Bijlipura, Morena, Madhya Pradesh. Eleven semi-automatic pistols of .32 bore with eleven extra magazines have been recovered from the accused person. The recovered firearms were meant to be supplied to the criminals of Delhi and NCR. INFORMATION AND OPERATION Based on information that gangsters and hardcore criminals in Delhi and NCR are procuring sophisticated firearms from MP-based arms suppliers, a team of Southern Range of Special Cell was working to identify and crack the network. After sustained efforts of more than a month, some of the members of this syndicate were identified. On December 09, 2025, a specific information was received that a member of this arms syndicate, namely Manpal had procured a consignment of pistols from Sendhwa, MP, and was going to deliver the same in the area of Sarai Kale Khan, New Delhi. Accordingly, a raiding party led by Inspr. Ranjeet Singh was constituted, and a trap was laid. Manpal was spotted in the late hours of 09.12.25. Thereafter, he was cornered and overpowered by the members of the police team. Upon search, eleven semi-automatic pistols along with eleven extra magazines were recovered from Manpal. Accordingly, a case vide FIR No 302/25, dated 10.12.25 u/s 25/25(8) Arms Act, PS Special Cell has been registered. BACKGROUND AND CRIMINAL HISTORY On interrogation, it was revealed that the pistols were procured from an arms supplier in Sendhwa, MP, and were to be further supplied to the criminals in Delhi and NCR. The accused person also disclosed that he used to buy semi-automatic pistols from MP for Rs. 15,000/- per piece and would sell them for Rs. 45,000/- in Delhi and NCR. He has further revealed that he had brought more than 25 pistols from MP during the last one year and supplied the same to criminals of Delhi and NCR.
