ISRO का Bahubali LVM3-M6 लॉन्च; 100वें स्पेस मिशन से ब्रॉडबैंड में नया इतिहास

Tirumala: The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is set to launch the LVM3-M6 (Bahubali) rocket from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SHAR), Sriharikota, at 8:54 am on December 24, 2025. Ahead of the launch, ISRO Chairman S. Narayanan offered prayers at the Tirumala Srivari Temple. He placed a model of the rocket at the feet of Lord Venkateswara and performed special pujas seeking divine blessings for the success of the mission. TTD officials accorded a warm welcome to the ISRO team and facilitated a special darshan. Later, at the Ranganayaka Mandapam, Vedic scholars rendered Vedic blessings, and the ISRO Chairman was honoured with a silk shawl and presented with teertha and prasadam. Speaking on the occasion, ISRO Chairman Narayanan said the LVM3-M6 rocket will carry the ‘BlueBird-6’ satellite, weighing approximately 6,500 kilograms, developed by US-based AST SpaceMobile. The satellite has been designed to provide direct high-speed broadband services to standard smartphones across the globe. There was a time when global space giants like Russia and the United States underestimated ISRO. Today, ISRO has reached a stage where it is launching critical satellites belonging to those very countries into space. Until about five years ago, ISRO had the capability to launch only small satellites. Now, it has successfully developed rockets capable of placing extremely heavy satellites into orbit. The launch of this mighty Bahubali rocket marks a major milestone, as it will be ISRO’s 100th space mission. On this historic occasion, ISRO is all set to launch one of its heaviest rockets, showcasing India’s growing strength and self-reliance in space technology.
