Ganderbal, Sept 20: A youth’s mysterious death in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district has triggered allegations of foul play, with the victim’s family claiming he was murdered before his body was dumped in a power canal. The bereaved family has appealed to Ganderbal Police to identify the culprits behind the alleged crime, expressing hope that Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ganderbal will ensure justice. Responding to the allegations, SSP Ganderbal told media persons that a detailed investigation has been initiated. “We will ensure a fair and transparent probe, and justice will be delivered to the family,” the SSP said.
