Aspirants for jobs in the Jammu and Kashmir Fire and Emergency Services on Friday staged a strong protest at Press Colony Srinagar, alleging irregularities in the long-pending recruitment process. The protesters demanded that the administration immediately publish the findings of a probe committee, headed by Additional Chief Secretary R. K. Goyal, which was constituted to investigate alleged discrepancies in the selection list.
