Pahalgam, Nov 1: MLA Pahalgam Altaf Ahmad Wani (Kaloo) today laid the foundation stone of Samavar Park in Pahalgam. The park, named after the traditional Kashmiri Samavar, is the first of its kind in Jammu and Kashmir and is expected to become a major attraction for both locals and tourists visiting the scenic destination. Speaking to media on the occasion, MLA Altaf Ahmad Wani said, “Today, I laid the foundation stone of Samavar Park, which is the first park of its kind in Jammu and Kashmir. We are hopeful that this place will soon become a famous tourist spot in Pahalgam. We are doing something new and meaningful for the people.”
