Shoppers can be seen thronging local markets to purchase topis, miswak, attar, and other religious items during the holy month of Ramzan. Shopkeepers say the demand for these items has increased significantly during this period. Traditional Kashmiri topis are particularly popular among buyers. According to traders, the price of these caps ranges from ₹100 to ₹2,500, depending on the design, embroidery, and quality. Vendors say that every year the demand for such items rises during the month of Ramzan as people prepare for prayers and the upcoming festival of Eid-ul-Fitr.
