Srinagar, Dec 12: Awami Itihaad Party (AIP) Chief Spokesperson Inam Un Nabi today held a detailed meeting with officials of the Rural Development Department (RDD) and the Municipal Committee Pattan to review the ongoing road widening work and address the concerns of traders and local residents affected by the project. The meeting was attended by the traders’ President and representatives of the affected inhabitants besides AIP Constituency Incharge M. Akbar, senior party leaders Naseer Ahmad Rather, Ajaz Ahmad Lone, M. Umer, and Abrar Rashid. Inam Un Nabi stressed the need for resolving public grievances in a coordinated and time-bound manner and urged the authorities to ensure that widening work progresses without causing undue hardship to shopkeepers and households along the stretch. Later, Inam Un Nabi visited Pattan Hospital, where he assured doctors and staff that the commitment made by MP Baramulla Er Rashid regarding the hospital’s upgradation “will be fulfilled without fail.” He also announced the sanctioning of MPLADS funds for critical requirements of the hospital, adding that AIP remains committed to strengthening healthcare facilities across the constituency.
