MLA Shopian Advocate Shabir Ahmed Kulley, along with the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Shopian and medical superintendent district hospital Shopian inaugurated a 108 Ambulance service at District Hospital Shopian. The initiative aims to strengthen emergency healthcare services in the district and ensure timely medical assistance for patients in need. Speaking on the occasion, the MLA highlighted the importance of accessible emergency transport in saving lives and improving public health facilities. Hospital staff and local residents welcomed the step, expressing hope that the ambulance service will greatly benefit patients, especially during critical situations. The new 108 Ambulance is expected to enhance the district’s emergency response and healthcare support system.
