Ganderbal, Feb 20: On the first Friday (Jumma) of the holy month of Ramadan, a large number of devotees thronged mosques across Ganderbal district to offer congregational prayers. People were seen heading towards various mosques since early afternoon to participate in the first Jumma prayers of Ramadan with religious fervour and devotion. The mosque committees had made necessary arrangements for the devotees, including proper cleanliness, water facilities, and space management, to ensure that worshippers did not face any inconvenience during the prayers. The atmosphere across the district remained spiritual and peaceful as people prayed for peace, prosperity, and well-being.
