Ganderbal: A slight improvement in night temperatures was recorded across Ganderbal district, but the early morning hours continued to witness intense cold conditions. According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperatures were: Ganderbal: -0.2°C, Sonamarg: -1.2°C, Zojila Pass: -18.0°C. Health experts have urged people to follow the health advisory issued for the winter season. They appealed to residents—especially children, the elderly, and those with chronic illnesses—to wear warm clothing and avoid exposure to cold during early morning hours. Experts warned that the persistent chill could increase the risk of respiratory illnesses and seasonal flu, advising people to take necessary precautions.
