GANDERBAL: Four students from Ganderbal district have developed a solar-powered boat and an anti-heat helmet at the Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) at Girls Higher Secondary School, Duderhama.
Using the facilities and resources available at the ATL, the students designed the innovative products with a focus on sustainable and affordable technology.
The students said they are keen to work on new innovations and are also learning key concepts related to entrepreneurship and marketing through the ATL platform. They appealed to the administration to provide financial assistance to help them launch the products in the market.
One of the students said that the solar boat runs on renewable solar energy, while the anti-heat helmet helps in maintaining body temperature, especially in high-temperature conditions.
The students said their aim is to develop products that are affordable for people from all sections of society. They also encouraged other students to make proper use of technology and time for innovation.
The students expressed gratitude to their teachers for their continuous support and guidance during the project.
