Thousands of devotees assembled in Jamia Masjids across Bhaderwah on Friday to offer the special congregational prayers on the occasion of Jumma-tul-Vida, the last Friday of the ongoing holy month of Ramadan. Dressed in their best traditional attire, worshippers started arriving at mosques from early afternoon to participate in the congregational prayers. During the prayers, devotees raised their hands in supplication, seeking blessings from the Almighty for peace, prosperity, social harmony, and the strength to observe the holy month of Ramadan again next year. People from different parts of Bhaderwah turned out in large numbers despite the sweltering heat to offer prayers in various Jamia Masjids located in the town and its peripheral areas. At the Markazi Jamia Masjid Bhaderwah, a large gathering of devotees was witnessed. To accommodate the heavy rush of worshippers, the Masjid Committee had made elaborate arrangements, including space for Namazis along the adjoining roads. Meanwhile, security arrangements were also strengthened in and around the town to ensure the smooth and peaceful conduct of the last Friday prayers of the holy month of Ramadan.
