An Additional Deputy Commissioner Bhaderwah conducted an extensive inspection of snow clearance and restoration works on the Interstate Bhaderwah–Chamba road, particularly at Khani Top and adjoining areas. He reviewed the pace of work and directed the concerned departments to accelerate snow removal and repair activities to ensure early restoration of traffic movement on the Bhaderwah–Chamba Interstate road. The inspection was carried out in the presence of officials from the R&B and Public Works Department, along with engineers of the Mechanical Department. The ADC emphasized maintaining road connectivity during winter and instructed officials to stay alert for any emergency due to adverse weather. He appreciated field staff for restoration works under challenging conditions and stressed timely completion to avoid commuter inconvenience. He stated that all roads have been restored and work on the Bhaderwah–Chamba interstate road is ongoing at full pace, with restoration up to 38 KM milestone and full restoration targeted by March 15.
