LAND for Jobs Scam The instant case was registered against Sh. Lalu Prasad Yadav, the then Minister of Railways & 14 others including family members of Lalu Prasad Yadav, candidates engaged as substitute in Group-D in Railways and others u/s 120-B r/w section 11, 12 of PC Act, 1988 and section 13 (2) r/w 13 (1) (d) of PC Act on allegations of providing jobs to various candidates in Group-D Substitutes in various zones of Railways in lieu of consideration through his family members / associates. Three charge-sheets and two suppl. charge-sheets were filed under relevant sections of IPC and PC Act. Order on charge was passed on 09.01.2026 wherein trial Court framed charges against 46 accused persons u/s 120-B r/w 420, 465, 468, 471 of IPC and section 13(2) r/w 13 (1) (d) (ii) (iii) of PC Act and substantive offences thereof. 46 accused persons against whom charges have been framed includes Sh. Lalu Prasad Yadav and his 05 family members namely Smt. Rabri Devi, Smt. Misa Bharti, Sh. Tej Pratap Yadav, Sh. Tejaswi Yadav and Smt. Hema Yadav, his 03 close associates- Sh. Bhola Yadav, then Special Officer to MR, Sh. R K Mahajan, then PS to MR and Sh. Prem Chand Gupta, MP Rajya Sabha (RJD) and a company M/s A K Infosyatems.Pvt Ltd. currently owned by family members of Lau Prasad Yadav, then GMs, Substitutes and other private persons. Court fixed the dates from 01.02.2026 to 28.02.2026 for physical appearance of accused for reading over charge and entering plea. Sh. Lalu Prasad Yadav, his family members and close associates have appeared before the Ld. Trial Court in the last few weeks for the same and have plead not guilty. In this regard, Sh Lalu Prasad Yadav and Smt Rabri Devi appeared before the Court today on 16.02.2026. The Ld. Trial Court has now fixed the case for Prosecution Evidence from 09.03.2026 to 28.03.2026 on day to day basis.
