Haryana Cabinet approves Draft Teachers Transfer Policy, 2025 Revised Policy 2025 extends additional benefits for Teachers willing to be posted in Morni block, Hathin block, and Nuh District Such teachers to get additional 10% of Basic pay DA Chandigarh, November 3 - The Haryana Cabinet, which met under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini here today, approved the Teachers’ Transfer Policy. 2025, aligning it substantially with the Model Online Transfer Policy. The revised policy is proposed to replace the existing Teachers Transfer Policy - 2023. The Teachers' Transfer Policy, 2025 aims to ensure equitable and demand-based deployment of teachers and school heads in a fair and transparent manner, while safeguarding the academic interests of students. Under the new policy, the concept of zoning has been removed, allowing teachers to choose any school directly. However, the provision of addition allowance to teachers of RoH cadre to be posted in district Nuh, Hathin and Morni block on their choice, remain same as in Teacher Transfer Policy, 2023. Teachers belonging to the Mewat Cadre shall not be posted outside the cadre. The allotment of schools will be determined on the basis of the total composite score earned by each teacher, calculated out of 80 points. Age will be the prime factor, carrying a maximum weightage of 60 points. To address special categories such as women, women-headed households, widows, widowers, differently-abled persons, teachers suffering from serious ailments, couple cases, maximum 20 points are provided for teachers of these categories. In addition, a deduction of 10 marks has been introduced for the teacher during currency of major penalty. If any, Teachers aggrieved by transfer decisions may represent their grievances to the competent authority for redressal.
