After the attack on the Gurdaspur City Police Station on November 25th, Amritsar and Ferozepur were next in line. These locations were also reconnaissance at Shahzad Bhatti's behest. Evidence of this was found in the mobile phones recovered from the accused. During the investigation, the team discovered that grenades for the attack were being transported from across the border via drones. Later, at Bhatti's behest, Vikas conducted a recce of Amritsar, Ferozepur, and Gurdaspur police stations and sent the video. Bhatti sent Hargunpreet, Asif, and Mohan to Vikas. They were ordered to carry out the Gurdaspur attack. Hargunpreet said he had come into contact with Bhatti through a friend. At Bhatti's behest, he and his associates approached Vikas. Later, they attacked. Mohan was riding the bike at the time of the attack. Meanwhile, Asif came into contact with Bhatti through Instagram about two and a half months ago. At Bhatti's request, he created a video and map of the attack. At Bhatti's behest, he contacted Vikas. After the Gurdaspur attack, he was instructed to remain silent and turn off his mobile phone until further notice. Shahzad Bhatti and his associates closely monitor various social media platforms. They lure young people into their trap by offering them money and other inducements. Afterwards, their financial needs are met.
