KD Maini, a veteran journalist and former bureaucrat, is also associated with Jamia Zia-ul-Uloom Poonch. He has often highlighted the importance and contribution of the institute in promoting education, communal harmony, and social welfare in the region. Maulana Sayeed Ahmad Habib, son of Ghulam Qadir, is successfully running this great institution despite various challenges. Sayeed Ahmad Habib ensures that all basic needs and facilities of the students studying in Jamia Zia-ul-Uloom are fully met. He has emphasized the main motto of the Jamia. The teachers here are cooperative and dedicated toward the students. The Jamia is equipped with well-maintained libraries that contain a wide range of literature in English and Urdu, as well as numerous Islamic books, including Bukhari Sharif and various translated works in different languages. The same level of facilities is available in both the girls’ and boys’ branches of Jamia Zia-ul-Uloom.
