The atmosphere remained charged as demonstrators continued chanting slogans and carrying placards. Shops and markets across Nowgam Sonawari and adjoining areas remained closed for the day. Many women observed the shutdown in solidarity, keeping their establishments closed. Police personnel were deployed in sensitive locations to monitor the situation and maintain law and order. Officials said security forces were keeping a close watch to ensure the protests remained peaceful.
