Continuing its commitment towards ensuring public safety, Ganderbal Police under “Operation Bachao” has taken a proactive step by installing road safety and cautionary Sign Boards at various vulnerable spots along the Zojila Sector. The initiative aims to curb road accidents and promote safe driving practices in one of the most accident-prone stretches of the district. All vulnerable points and accident-prone areas have been carefully mapped and identified, following which Signboards bearing Warning Messages, Speed limits, and Safety advisories have been installed to alert motorists. This preventive initiative reflects Ganderbal Police’s continuous efforts to protect lives, enhance road safety awareness, and reduce mishaps along vital highways. The public is urged to adhere to traffic rules, follow signages, and drive responsibly to ensure safety for themselves and others.
